Adrian Alback
- Sound Department
- Director
- Producer
My first hands-on with film was in London in 1991, when I worked at a post production facility doing sound dubbing. I worked on numerous black and white cereals and some colour features. Upon returning to Australia that year I was engaged as a sound recorded on a few low budget 16 mm features and in 1997 my good friend Marque Owen invited me from full-time employment at Channel Seven to work on his 35 mil feature, all the way which had titular success.
The next 10 years, I graduated to studio Director for numerous news organisations whilst undertaking freelance work on documentaries.
In 2023, I directed and produced a high-quality short film called cliffs edge which had already won numerous awards for writing by Chris Beadnell.
At present, I work for a company closely associated with IMAX cinemas, but I still do my short films on the side for creative satisfaction
