Julian Bayliss is a UK based film composer. He studied music at Cardiff University and was the winner of the David Evans Award for composition. His teachers included Robert Fokkens and Arlene Sierra.
Julian has scored a number of short films including Line Of Fire (Joshua Sanger) which premiered at BAFTA, London. In addition to focussing on new film projects, Julian is composing for production music publishers. His work has been placed in the productions of numerous major broadcasters and independent films including the acclaimed feature documentary Rio 50 Degrees (Julien Temple).
Most recently, Julian's work has been used on BBC 1 (The One Show, Crimewatch, Flog it), ITV (This Morning), Channel 4 (Weighing Up the Enemy) and BBC Radio 4.
Over the past year Julian has assisted composer, Nick Holywell-Walker, providing additional music for a number of TV shows including, Wild Australia with Ray Mears (ITV), Wild France with Ray Mears (ITV), Wolfblood: Series 4 (CBBC) and Animal Cops (Animal Planet).
