Jamie Anderson is an English screenwriter and director from Sunderland,
Tyne and Wear. His directorial debut
Id (2011), a dramatization of the Freudian
structural model of the psyche, was showcased at several major
festivals worldwide including BAFTA, Plus Camerimage, Creative Arts and
Bradford International Film Festival. He recently completed filming on
the 1930s American gangster film
The Death of Jack Hamilton (2012),
which follows infamous outlaw John Dillinger and his gang, and the
pilot episode of a new science-fiction series called
The Coop (2013). He is writing
and directing the short "Alexander's Opus", which will enter
pre-production this summer, as well as his debut feature film. Outside
of narrative filmmaking, Anderson is also a freelance camera operator
and editor and has worked on several corporate videos for clients
across the United Kingdom.
