Big Brother Canada has announced its plans to replace live feeds with an edited daily segment, upsetting fans. However, the US version probably won’t follow suit.
‘Big Brother Canada’ removes Live Feeds
Big Brother Canada shocked the Bb community when it announced its plans to replace the 24/7 live feeds with Digital Dailies, beginning in the upcoming season 11. The Dailies will consist of “uncut content from inside the Bbcan house” and will be released weekly throughout the season.
As it’s only a selected portion of the content caught on camera, many fans are concerned that producers will remove anything that doesn’t paint their houseguests in a good light to reduce controversy.

In the months leading up to a new Big Brother season, rumors about its theme, cast, and twists run rampant on the internet. And in the past few years, since Survivor aired their all-winners season, fans have been begging CBS to produce to do the same on Big Brother. Will 2023 be the year it actually happens? Or is Big Brother: Winners at War an impossible feat?

Every summer in the “Big Brother” house, some of the contestants are punished and forced to eat a food substance called slop. Longtime viewers have been accustomed to the slop diet since it made its bold debut in the first “All-Stars” version in 2006. Prior to that, the go-to food for houseguests was the much more edible (and less mysterious) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. So, what are slop’s ingredients and rules, and what does it taste like? Read on for all the slop-tastic answers, if you dare.
What is the slop recipe?
Remember in “The Matrix” when people in the real world would eat gross-looking gruel because it contained all the vitamins, nutrients and minerals that a human requires to survive? Well, think of “Bb” slop as the reality TV version of that. All of the daily necessities are included so as not to leave the contestants malnourished. In...

The new season of “Big Brother” is just days away — it premieres Wednesday, July 7 on CBS. But before we meet the all-new houseguests for “BB23,” let’s flashback to one of the reality TV show’s most cringe-inducing moments ever. Last season, “BB22” started off with a whimper when Julie Chen Moonves instructed the first four Have-Nots on live television to walk upstairs and enter their new room. Unfortunately, the small door they were supposed to crawl through was stuck. “Do they slide or push the door?” Julie was heard asking her producers off-camera. “It’s still locked.”
Ian Terry, Nicole Anthony, Kevin Campbell and Memphis Garrett did all they could to try to open the door, but it wasn’t budging. “All right, then just stay in the hall for seven days,” Julie quipped awkwardly before adding, “I’m kidding.” The moment aired live on August 5, 2020.

Da’Vonne Rogers came on to “Big Brother 22: All-Stars” with a goal of becoming the first Black winner of the game. That didn’t happen, but she did make franchise history in another way: becoming the first Black houseguest to be named America’s Favorite Player, taking home a cool $25,000.
We caught up with the three-time player to chat about her surprising (to her) Afp victory, why she voted for Cody Calafiore to win over Enzo Palumbo, why she wouldn’t have voted for Nicole Franzel this time, and if the Season 18 alums have hashed out the vote fiasco earlier in the season when Nicole pinned her vote to evict Ian Terry on David Alexander.

Given that Big Brother is typically CBS's highest-rated show of the summer and it also airs multiple times a week, it's highly unlikely to be cancelled and sure to be renewed for a 23rd season. Since this is the 20th year anniversary of the show and we're also in the middle of a pandemic, will the ratings be higher or lower than usual? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.

Janelle Pierzina has not been a fan of Nicole Franzel all season long.
The two women failed to make much of a bond during the recent All-Stars season, with Franzel playing a big role in getting Pierzina out of the house early in the process.
Nicole was closely aligned with Cody Calafiore, and many figured the former winner would make it to the Final 2 as a result.
Instead, Cody clipped Nicole at Final 3 and went on to win the entire season, while Nicole was forced to settle for no prizes during the finale.
Pierzina has been vocal about Nicole on Twitter over the course of the season since exiting the house.
It makes sense then that she would take to Twitter on finale night to throw in her two cents about everything that happened.
"Final thoughts," Janelle tweeted.
“#1 Congrats to Cody for winning #Bb22," she said of the winner, adding of the runner-up:
"#2 Poor Enzo.

Just as Gold Derby predicted, Cody Calafiore (aka Bb Comics’ The Cali-Fury) became the winner of “Big Brother 22” on Wednesday, October 28. He faced off against Enzo Palumbo in the final two after solely eliminating Nicole Franzel when he took the last Head of Household. (Read our minute-by-minute finale recap.) By claiming the title of “All-Stars” champion, Cody became the 15th man to win “Big Brother” across 22 seasons, compared to only seven women.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched the season finale of “Big Brother: All-Stars.”
In lieu of its usual live studio audience, “Big Brother” wrapped its 20th summer and yet another season of twists, surprises and controversies by awarding its second-ever “All-Stars” winner.
Host Julie Chen Moonves kicked off the night with Part 2 of the final Head of Household competition in which Cody Calafiore and Enzo Palumbo faced off to compete against Nicole Franzel who won last week’s Part 1 endurance game.
In a game of “Camera Hogs,” the two male players identified the faces of evicted houseguests and matched their photo with clues displayed on postcard boards. Then, they had to walk across a log, while avoiding getting knocked down by large pig heads swinging from side-to-side.

After 85 days of eye-rollingly predictable evictions, “Big Brother 22” finally came to an end on Wednesday night with either Nicole Franzel, Cody Calafiore or Enzo Palumbo taking home the $500,000 prize. This “All-Stars” cycle was able to happen despite the coronavirus pandemic, as the 16 houseguests were quarantined before the game began and lived inside the “Big Brother” bubble for the duration of their stay. So who did the jury pick as the winner of Season 22, and who won the special $25,000 check as America’s Favorite Houseguest?

Cody Calafiore, Nicole Franzel and Enzo Palumbo are in the final three on “Big Brother 22,” and as Julie Chen Moonves noted on Thursday, they’ve all been here before. The trio has joined just three other people as the only players to make multiple final threes on the show.
The other three are Janelle Pierzina, Dan Gheesling and Paul Abrahamian. Janelle did it first in back-to-back years, placing third on Seasons 6 and 7, the first all-stars outing. Dan won Season 10 and then finished second on Season 14 to Ian Terry, becoming the first person to reach two final twos. Paul later joined him, finishing runner-up on Seasons 18 and 19 to Nicole and Josh Martinez, respectively.
Nicole’s victory came after she took seventh place on Season 16, in which Cody placed second to Derrick Levasseur. Enzo got third place on Season 12.

Last week on “Big Brother 22,” Christmas Abbott became the newest member of the jury thanks to Cody Calafiore, who cast the sole vote to evict. And then there were three. With the finale of “Big Brother 22” scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, all eyes are now on which player has what it takes to go the distance and win the $500,000 grand prize.
For almost the entire season Cody Calafiore has dominated Gold Derby’s predictions, and he still leads with 53/20 odds to win. Second place goes to Enzo Palumbo with 20/1 odds, followed by Nicole Franzel at 100/1 odds. Do you agree or disagree with the predictions of your fellow fans? Memphis Garrett made his reality TV appearance in 2008 when he was cast as a House Guest for the 10th season of Big Brother. After coming in second place, Memphis solidified his place in Big Brother history and he recently made a comeback for the show’s all-star season. Thursday’s live episode 31 of “Big Brother” will conclude with the eviction of the 12th houseguest in the first 10 weeks of the competition. Five fellows have been sent packing so far: Kaysar Ridha (week 4); Ian Terry (week 6); both Kevin Campbell and David Alexander (week 8); and Tyler Crispen (week 9). And six women have been bounced from the BB22 house: Keesha Smith (week 1); Nicole Anthony (week 2); Janelle Pierzina (week 3); Bayleigh Dayton (week 5), Da’Vonne Rogers (week 7) and Dana Briones (week 8).
Joining Ian, Da’Vonne, Kevin, David, Dani and Tyler on the jury will be either Christmas Abbott or Memphis Garrett. Keep reading if you want all the “Big Brother 22” spoilers, including who will be leaving the house in the Week 10 eviction on October 15.

It was more of the same in the “Big Brother 22” house on Tuesday. Things alway slow down at the end, but it feels particularly hellish this season since every week has been a snooze. There was some slight wavering, but the plan remains the same, as does Memphis Garrett‘s cluelessness that he’s the actual target. So we could possibly see a blindside on Thursday. We’ve probably already jinxed it by saying it out loud.
Enzo Palumbo ostensibly started having second thoughts about sending out Memphis over Christmas Abbott, whom he thinks would take Nicole Franzel to final two over him and Cody Calafiore. But Cody quickly killed that by arguing that Enzo is a bigger comp threat and would beat anyone in the final, so he’s gotta go. Enzo then touched base with Christmas, telling her that they need to have each other’s back in...

A relatively quiet week in the “Big Brother” house ended with the eviction of Tyler Crispen on Thursday night, just one week after the 25-year old took a shot at Season 18 champ Nicole Franzel, but missed. Tyler and Christmas Abbott were caught on the wrong side of the vote when they attempted to oust Nicole during last week’s triple eviction, putting them in the crosshairs of Head of Household Cody Calafiore. After Cody won the Veto as well, Nicole, Memphis Garrett and Enzo Palumbo evicted Tyler over Christmas by a vote of 3-0, sending the Season 18 runner-up out the front door to meet host Julie Chen Moonves.
“I was definitely coming after Memphis and Cody,” Tyler admitted in his exit interview when asked if they made the right choice to evict him. “I thought they were the strongest competitors and the biggest threats to win and I think they viewed me the same way.

‘Big Brother 22’ episode 28 recap: Was Christmas or Tyler evicted on October 8? [Updating Live Blog]
Last week on “Big Brother” the Committee alliance was finally forced to turn on itself, unanimously voting out Dani Briones during the triple eviction. Now either Christmas Abbott or Tyler Crispen will be the next person evicted from “All-Stars” and sent to the jury house, joining Dani, David Alexander, Kevin Campbell, Da’Vonne Rogers and Ian Terry. So how did Thursday’s live episode play out, and who ended up having a socially distanced conversation with Julie Chen Moonves?

Despite winning almost every challenge in “Big Brother 22” and its six members making the final 7, “The Committee” alliance ranks only third in our poll results for the strongest alliance in series history. Members Cody Calafiore, Nicole Franzel, Memphis Garrett, Dani Briones, Christmas Abbott and Tyler Crispen earned only 15% of your votes when compared with four other dominant alliances from “Bb” history. In the end, their friend and side-ally of the season, Enzo Palumbo, came out on top with his season 12 alliance “The Brigade” earning a whopping 41% of votes.

Tyler Crispen is one of the most-liked people to ever play “Big Brother,” even winning “America’s Favorite Player” in Season 20. However, his game is now on the line as he’s one of two houseguests up for eviction on Thursday night — the other being Christmas Abbott. Even though Tyler is seen as a huge target in the game by his cohorts, he warned viewers that “it’s not over yet” at the end of Wednesday’s episode.

“Honestly, if I was these people, I would definitely vote me out,” Tyler said about his potential eviction. “But it’s not over yet. I’ve convinced some people in my ‘Big Brother’ career to do some crazy stuff and keeping me in this house right now might be the craziest of all. So folks, let’s get crazy. Let’s keep Tyler in the house.

The third time was the charm for Memphis Garrett on “Big Brother 22.” Pressed about David Alexander being a rookie on an all-stars season, the Season 10 runner-up had made it his mission to evict him since his first Hoh in Week 2. He finally got his wish when the Season 21 alum was booted 3-2 during the second of Thursday’s triple eviction.
And so ended one of the most, uh, unique runs on “Big Brother.” David, who was banished on Day 1 last season, did a number of head-scratching things, like taking the $10,000 instead of going for the Veto this week, and telling his own ally, Da’Vonne Rogers, to chill out when she was gaming on his behalf (which later led to her thinking he flipped the vote on Ian Terry when it was Nicole Franzel). But equally head-scratching was Memphis’ disdain for him. Why does he think he targeted him? See what...

David Alexander became the second houseguest sent packing during Thursday night’s historic triple eviction episode of “Big Brother.” After targeting David since Week 2, Head of Household Memphis Garrett finally got his wish when David was evicted by a narrow 3-2 margin over “BB18” champ Nicole Franzel. Tyler Crispen and Christmas Abbott were the votes in his favor. After taking some time to gather his emotions, David walked out the front door to meet host Julie Chen Moonves.
“Everything happens quick when it’s a fast night like tonight,” David explained in his exit interview. “You don’t have time to process what’s going on in the house. I’m proud. I feel vindicated. To be banished on Day 1 last year and come here on All-Stars season and have an opportunity to get this far in the game, not winning many comps, I’m proud it took a double eviction to get me out.

With Cody Calafiore winning his second Head of Household competition this week on “Big Brother 22” and continuing the streak of his alliance strictly nominating players outside their group, we must ask the question: how does The Committee rank against the great alliances in Bb history? Cody has been aligned with Christmas Abbott, Nicole Franzel, Memphis Garrett, Tyler Crispen and Dani Briones in a so-far-unbreakable alliance of six since Memphis corralled the group during his own Hoh reign in week 2. As of this week, they have won 7/8 Hoh and 5/8 Power of Veto comps.

Monday was yet another humdrum day in the “Big Brother 22” house. Cody Calafiore did not use the Veto (duh), so one of Kevin Campbell and David Alexander will be the first evictee of Thursday’s triple eviction. All signs still point to Kevin since that’s what Cody wants. But some of the Committee are pushing back while others are trying to look ahead.
This dissension will ultimately amount to nothing because, well, when has it ever this season? But Dani Briones still wants David out, and obviously Memphis Garrett supports bouncing his nemesis too. “I don’t understand why Cody is the one that wants it so we are all doing it,” she complained to Memphis about evicting Kevin. “Why cant we discuss the options? It’s kind of annoying.”

Da’Vonne Rogers knew her number was up on “Big Brother 22,” and she made sure to leave with a bang. The three-time player delivered another scorcher of a speech on Thursday, calling out the show’s history of predominantly white winners and noting that “21 seasons of winners and not one of those faces look like mine.” She may have (hopefully) changed hearts, but she didn’t change the houseguests’ minds, and she was evicted 5-2 over Kevin Campbell to become the second juror of the season.
Her fate was sealed when Tyler Crispen refused to use the Veto to allow Memphis Garrett to backdoor David Alexander. But Day’s biggest drama of the week stemmed from last week, when Nicole Franzel lied about her vote to evict Ian Terry. Choosing to believe Nicole, who had betrayed her in Season 18, Day spent most of the week certain that David flipped and was...

“I am relieved, I was sick of them people, I was ready to go!” exclaimed an animated Da’Vonne Rogers following her live eviction on Thursday’s episode of “Big Brother.” Under the Head of Household reign of Memphis Garrett, Da’Vonne was evicted by a vote of 5-2 over her closest remaining ally Kevin Campbell. Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel were the two votes in her favor. Da’Vonne met up with host Julie Chen Moonves for her exit interview before heading to the jury house where she will become Juror #2 alongside Ian Terry.

At the end of this week’s live eviction episode of “Big Brother 22,” host Julie Chen Moonves shocked America with an announcement: next Thursday’s episode will be a triple eviction. That’s right, the number of players will drop from nine to six in a special live two-hour episode airing October 1 on CBS. So how will the historic night play out?
Here’s our educated guess. The episode will begin with the elimination of jury member #3, following Ian Terry and Da’Vonne Rogers. Then there will be a Head of Household competition, a nominations ceremony, a Veto challenge, a Veto meeting and a second live eviction. The pattern will then repeat itself all over again, with a third person leaving at the end of the second hour.

Da’Vonne, Da’Vonne, Da’Vonne! At the conclusion of this season of “Big Brother” when Da’Vonne Rogers goes back and watches all the episodes on her DVR, she’s going to feel so silly about everything that happened this week. For starters, the three-time fan favorite incorrectly accused David Alexander of betraying her, Kevin Campbell and Nicole Franzel about not voting to keep Ian Terry, when it was really Nicole. And now, she stubbornly refused to pick David for the Veto, even though he previously said if he won he planned on using it to “save a friend.”

Another week of “Big Brother,” another nomination for Kevin Campbell. The four-time nominee was put on the block alongside Da’Vonne Rogers (it’s only her second time) by Head of Household Memphis Garrett earlier this week, but the plan is for neither of them to actually go home. “They’re basically just pawns so I can backdoor David,” Memphis proclaimed about David Alexander, his nemesis in the game since week two. Even though the Hoh shook David’s hand and promised he wouldn’t go up on the block, Memphis had no plans of honoring that deal. In other words, David needed to win the mid-week Veto competition if he hoped to stay in the game. So how’d it all play out?

Last week the All-Stars of “Big Brother 22” sent Ian Terry to the jury house, making the former winner the first player to sit on the panel that will decide who wins. Still in the running are 10 houseguests, including the only other winner, Nicole Franzel, who sits comfortably in the six-person alliance called “The Committee” that has so far ruled the game. Can Nicole outlast the nine other players to become the first person to win twice, or did the target on her back just get bigger with Ian out of the game?

Monday went as expected in the “Big Brother 22” house — well, except for the fire David Alexander accidentally started while cooking. What an apt metaphor for the season. Tyler Crispen didn’t use the Veto and Christmas Abbott let her Blocker power expire, so Da’Vonne Rogers is on her way out the door on Thursday — and no, she still doesn’t know the truth about the vote, but Nicole Franzel is planning to tell her. Maybe.
Really, it’s exhausting at this point watching Day dig herself into an even bigger hole being so blindly loyal to Nicole and Dani Briones. At one point, even Kevin Campbell was like, “You know, maybe David was telling the truth and it was Nicole who flipped.” Day refused to entertain the idea because she did not believe that Nicole would “f— me twice,” referring to Season 18.
Day to Kevin: I just don't buy it.

It was hard to imagine feeling sorry for David Alexander on “Big Brother 22” a month ago after Davidgate and his general gameplay ignorance, but now it’s hard not to feel sorry for him. Da’Vonne Rogers and Kevin Campbell — the former especially — are still under Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel‘s spell and don’t believe David that he had voted to evict Tyler Crispen last week. But justice for David will be served because Tyler is not going to use the Veto on either of them.
It’s really hysterical that Memphis Garrett went through this elaborate plan to backdoor David of all people and it’s not even going to work. He had asked people to throw the Veto, and while he was annoyed that Tyler didn’t, he’s not too pissed that he’s not going to use it because he ultimately doesn’t care who...

Sunday night in the “Big Brother 22” house, Memphis Garrett nominated two pawns for eviction in the first official backdoor plan of the season. The Head of Household put Da’Vonne Rogers and Kevin Campbell on the block, but his real target is exactly who you’d expect: David Alexander. Memphis has been gunning for David since week two, when he infamously called him a “rookie” who needed to prove himself in the game.
“I’ve nominated Da’Vonne and Kevin, but they’re basically just pawns so I can backdoor David,” Memphis later explained in the Diary Room. “He’s not in my alliance. He does nothing for my game so get rid of him. It’s time.”

Suffice it to say, Dani Briones‘ Head of Household reign last week on “Big Brother” was an unmitigated disaster. Because the Disruptor power and the Veto medallion were both used, Dani had to put up four houseguests for eviction: Ian Terry (who was evicted), Tyler Crispen (who survived the block), Kevin Campbell (who was saved by Da’Vonne Rogers‘ Veto) and David Alexander (who saved himself with the Disruptor). With Dani sitting out of the Hoh puzzle competition, only nine players competed: Cody Calafiore, Enzo Palumbo, Christmas Abbott, Nicole Franzel, Memphis Garrett, Tyler, Da’Vonne, Kevin and David. So who received this week’s Hoh key, and which two contestants did they nominate for eviction?

Hey, fellow "Big Brother" fans. We are back in action on this Friday to tell you how last night's Hoh (Head Of Household) competition played out. As we reported, last night, the houseguests competed in an Hoh comp called, "Hydrant Hustle" after they voted Ian Terry out of the house and to the jury house. Unfortunately, this new Hoh comp lasted beyond the time restraints of the Live show, and the Live feeds didn't cut back on until late last night around 11:15 pm central standard time. Anyways, in this comp, the houseguests had to run and collect puzzle pieces. Then they had to complete a puzzle. The first one to do it, won. So, it was very straight up. After everything was all said and done, it was Memphis who emerged as the winner of this latest Hoh competition, making him the new Hoh for this week. This is...

Ian Terry went from first place to first juror on Thursday’s “Big Brother 22: All-Stars,” getting evicted 5-3. Adding insult to injury, the Season 14 champ wasn’t even Hoh Dani Briones‘ target, but he became a casualty after David Alexander‘s Disruptor power and Da’Vonne Rogers‘ Veto win pulled her Og nominees, David and Kevin Campbell, off the block.
Dani’s comment that Ian was the “ultimate pawn” gave the impression that she wanted to send Tyler Crispen out, and she did, briefly, but the other members of the Committee were not onboard. Meanwhile, Nicole Franzel was a stressed-out mess because she didn’t want to vote out her final two ally and fellow winner. Ian spent the week thinking that his forthcoming eviction was a “blunder” because Dani chose the wrong renom until he heard Tyler’s goodbye message, in which he outed the Committee down to...

What was supposed to be the saving grace of summer TV is turning into the most controversial season to date.
Yes, we're talking about Big Brother: All Stars.
The CBS reality series has a 24-7 life feed, which allows viewers to keep up with what's happening inside the most famous house on all of TV.
Late on Wednesday night, Memphis Garrett, was having a chat with Cody Calafiore about fellow houseguest David Alexander, who is Black.
Many viewers reacted via social media saying they heard him say, "Dude, David's a n****r," but was stopped before completing his sentence by Cody making a signal with his hand.
Another camera angle of the incident seemingly shows Memphis make a face right after allegedly using the slur, which further fueled the fire with fans that he said it.
A petition has been created on Change.org, demanding for his removal from the series.

Ian Terry became the first juror from “Big Brother 22” on Thursday night when he was evicted in a 5-3 vote over Tyler Crispen. The Season 14 winner kept it classy, whispering, “It’s a blunder and it happens,” to Hoh Dani Briones on his way out the door. Dani had told Ian he was a pawn earlier in the week, when in fact her alliance, the Committee, consisting of herself, Tyler, Christmas Abbott, Cody Calafiore, Nicole Franzel and Memphis Garrett, had no plans to keep him around.
“I feel like she just [threw] my whole game away, almost accidentally,” Ian told host Julie Chen Moonves following his untimely eviction. “Maybe it was a great play and I just don’t realize it, but it hurt.” When pressed on why he was hurt, Ian clarified. “I don’t have hurt feelings, but in the game it hurts. It’s a lot of new feelings.

Heading into Thursday’s eviction episode of “Big Brother 22,” two players were nominated despite not being originally put on the block by Head of Household Dani Briones. Tyler Crispen heard his name called after David Alexander saved himself with his Disruptor power, and Ian Terry was chosen as Kevin Campbell‘s replacement after Da’Vonne Rogers used the Veto on him. Dani publicly announced that Tyler was her true target, but Ian was still worried he could go home thanks to his former winner status. Who did the contestants decide to send to the jury house: Ian or Tyler? And who became the latest Hoh during this exciting “All-Stars” season?
