Freddie Fillers
- Producer
- Executive
Freddie received his executive producer credit for the well received 2013 documentary, "Rewind This!" by assisting the filmmakers with a financial contribution that allowed them to travel abroad to gather more interview insights for the film.
Finding a project like "Rewind This!" and assisting with its completion served as the culmination of a Personal MBA style program that he invested in to study content creation, content production, content licensing, and content distribution across a multi-platform approach.
After attending a few South by Southwest Film Festivals in Austin, TX, he was inspired to design a content service for Texas productions called, Texas Film Television. The service would allow for ad-supported and ad-free subscription streaming along with licensing revenue received from local television affiliates programming individual titles or blocks of content based on genre or a mix tape approach to filling the schedule. Licensing revenue would be used to pay the filmmakers for the use of their work. In a future state, with the streaming foundation established and successful affiliate television station adoption, additional financing would come into play to support original content production.
