It’s easy to make fun of The X Factor, what with Demi Lovato’s crocodile tears (and atrocious, “more prouder” grammar), Simon Cowell’s bloated sense of self-importance and especially future Emmy nominee for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Paulina Rubio’s patented brand of “does this chica have a concussion?” English. (Tonight’s “oily nose”/”you are you!” critique of Carlito Olivero was beautifully absurd, but still couldn’t top last week’s inability to tell her hot Latino contestant apart from wide-eyed 15-year-old Josh Levi.)

Noel Gallagher will never be ''bored'' enough to join 'The X Factor'. The 'Aka... What A Life!' hitmaker has been approached for the second time by show chief Simon Cowell to be a judge on the ITV singing competition, and even though he thinks he'd earn a huge salary if he took on the role, he insists it isn't something he wants to do. He said: ''Yes I was asked to do it again. I think they think that because my tour's finished I'm going to be bored, but I'm never going to be that bored. ''Sharon Osbourne gets £1.5 million for...

Noel Gallagher has reiterated that he will not be joining The X Factor as a judge.
The ex-Oasis musician recently confirmed that he was offered a spot on the judging panel by Simon Cowell.
Speaking about his reasons behind turning down the deal, he said that he would be worried about swearing on live television.
"Yes I was asked to do it again," he told the Daily Star.
"I think they think that because my tour's finished I'm going to be bored, but I'm never going to be that bored. Sharon Osbourne gets £1.5 million for it, I've heard. If she's worth one and a half, what am I worth? Three? Three and three quarters?
"I've not got anything against the show, I just don't want to be on the telly every Saturday night. F**k that."
He added: "You may be aware, I've got a slight case of Tourette's...

Noel Gallagher has reportedly been offered a deal to join The X Factor as a judge.
The ex-Oasis musician has been sent a contract worth £2 million in a "name your price" deal, according to The Sun.
Simon Cowell has allegedly offered Gallagher a deal to join the ITV show in the past, and is keen to add him to a revamped lineup this year.
A source said: "Simon is determined to get Noel on board. He sees him as his natural replacement as the real alpha male on the panel. He thinks Noel would be ideal, with his music knowledge, straight-talking and rapier wit."
The insider added: "Noel's daughter Anais is a huge fan of One Direction and X Factor, so she'll be nagging him to say yes."
Gallagher was first offered a deal by Cowell in 2011, while he was busy working on his High Flying Birds solo project.
