Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features Fourteen matches, though we also get some of Aew’s bigger stars on the show, which makes up for the ridiculous amount of matches Imho. Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: Action Andretti def. Tony Deppen
My Thoughts: Action Andretti continues his winning streak in this opening match, though why Deppen was allowed to get as much offence as he did – especially against the guy that beat Chris Jericho in his debut. Still, a great start to this week’s Dark.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Evil Uno def. J. Spade
My Thoughts: Evil Uno’s turning to the dark side continues… I sincerely hope this new vicious streak continues and we get a stronger, more dominant Dark Order too. Shame the audience wasn’t into this one though.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Parker Boudreaux def.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features 9 matches on this week’s show – the first Elevation of 2022! We’ve got Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Tyra Russamee
My Thoughts: This was a typical Aew squash match of the highest order, with Tyra Russamee taking a beating from Shida – only avoiding Shida rather than offering any of her own offence.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese and Josh Woods) def. Pillars of Destiny (Hunter Grey and Paul Titan)
My Thoughts: This was decidedly average. Both teams seemed to struggle making this one feel like a smooth wrestling match and instead felt too scrappy to make any impact.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy def. Manny Lemons and Atiba
My Thoughts: Another Aew typical squash,...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week is a stacked show – not only do we have eleven matches on this card we have appearances by the likes of Kenny Omega, who hasn’t wrestled on Dark in almost Two years! On with the review…
Match #1: Kenny Omega def. Hagane Shinno
My Thoughts: Hagane Shinno’s profile has been slowly building over the weeks until this, what would be a main event match if it was anyone Other than Shinno. Instead he gets to take on Kenny Omega in the opening match of Dark. And Kenny was very giving here, letting Shinno get some near falls and plenty of offence in. A cracking opening to this week’s show.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Action Andretti def. Invictus Khash
My Thoughts: Action Andretti, the man that shocked the Iwc after winning his match against Chris Jericho last week,...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which, like Elevation, features nine matches… On with this week’s review!
Match #1: Danhausen def. Jon Cruz
My Thoughts: Danhausen manages to get a win after losing to Qt Marshall on Elevation. Though it was againzt jobber Jon Cruz, who was last seen on Dark getting quickly squashed by The Butcher (way back in 2021). Still it’s always great to see Danhausen in action. Always.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Embassy def. Fuego Del Sol and Waves & Curls
My Thoughts: Well this was surprise, I expected a quick squash of Feugo and his teammates but no, instead we got a decent display of action from everyone involved. In fact this was – in another total surprise – one of the best matches we’ve seen from The Embassy so far.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Nyla Rose def. Leva Bates

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Aew Universal once again. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual, so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: The Renegade Twins def. Rocky Radley & Allie Recks
My Thoughts: The Renegade Twins get to face the enhancement talent rather than Be the enhancement talent? What a shocker. And they got some decent competition in Radley and Recks (that’s actually one hell of a tag team name Imho), making this another… let’s say it together… Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anthony Ogogo def. Meto
My Thoughts: This was Anthony Ogogo doing his usual thing of playing with his opponent, this time for longer than usual. I do wonder where Ogogo’s career can go beyond these kinds of matches?
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Peter Avalon & Ryan Nemeth def. Adrian Alanis...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got a repeat of last week’s commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Anna Jay def. Nikki Victory
My Thoughts: Another short and sweet squash match for Anna Jay, who traded in the fin and happy mood of the Dark Order for a more serious and more importantly vicious attitude. And it works. Now she just needs to get more competitive matches under her belt.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Ruby Soho & Ortiz def. Queen Aminata & Mickey Midas
My Thoughts: Interesting… Undoubtedly because of Sammy and Tay’s championship, it seems Aew are getting into the mixed tag match scene – giving Ruby and Ortiz some practice before their match against the aforementioned Sammy and Tay at All Out.

Welcome to this review of a special Thursday night episode of Aew Dark: Elevation, which precedes this week’s Rampage And Saturday’s Battle of the Belts 3 show. Once again we’ve got the duo of Tony Schiavone and Mark Henry on commentary this week… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Emi Sakura
My Thoughts: This was a hard-hitting women’s match between two ladies who have the experience in the ring and with each other to make this one look super-competitive. This one went back and forth, with Sakura seemingly getting the upper hand before Shida stole the win in her usual inimitable style!
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Mance Warner def. Serpentico
My Thoughts: Mance Warner makes his Aew debut on this special episode of Elevation before facing Jon Moxley on Rampage! Nice tune-up for Warner, against an opponent...
