Cartoonito, WarnerMedia Kids & Family’s new preschool programming block, launched Monday on HBO Max and Cartoon Network and used the occasion to reveal that it has set casts for a pair of animated projects — a Batwheels series that will feature Ethan Hawke as the voice of Batman and its Mo Willems one-hour rock opera Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Underground Rock Experience. It also greenlighted the first preschool animated series starring Tom and Jerry.
The news came today as part of a live virtual event celebrating the new block, which features a fall slate of 20 new series. Within two years, the company said, the slate of originals will reach 50 shows.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Orphan Black, True Blood, Penny Dreadful and Big Brother!
1 | Watching scenes like Orphan Black‘s clone dance party, Cosima/Sarah’s bed chat and even Rachel taunting Sarah through the mirror, does it baffle you that the show doesn’t get more credit/recognition for its directing?

Next month, Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) will return to television with Fox’s 24: Live Another Day, a 12-episode update of the acclaimed espionage thriller series. Set four years after the explosive events of 24‘s eighth and final season, Live Another Day finds Jack laying low in Europe, still hounded by the CIA. When he catches wind of a planned terrorist attack in London, the former agent leaps into action, determined to prevent global chaos even as his pursuers draw closer.
Fox has unveiled a decidedly cinematic trailer for the series today, which reveals a lot more about the set-up for Live Another Day, as well as new additions to the cast. Check it out below:
For newcomers to the series, season eight saw Jack slaughter high-ranking members of the Russian government who were involved in a shadowy conspiracy. In Live Another Day, the CIA is clearly still holding a...

Getting people psyched up for the new 24 series, 24: Live Another Day, may strike many people as something along the lines of Coke commercials. At this point, are you really selling to anyone? We all know whether or not we’re interested in Coke.
Still, despite the idea that pulling in the completely uninitiated may be a questionable pursuit, Fox is pretty clear on the idea that it wants to make sure it doesn’t miss anyone. The new teaser doesn’t exactly give you a lot to go on, perhaps in a way similar to the idea that Coke commercials don’t exactly explain the product. But, it does at least give you the impression that it may pull off the difficult and dangerous attempt of standing next to the previous entries. I’m not absolutely convinced that this is a game we can keep playing, but the trailer looks good.

Another exciting casting for Fox’s 24 reboot Live Another Day: Michelle Fairley is joining the show in a major villainous role.
She’ll play Margo, the British widow of a notorious terrorist. This is a role that was previously filled by actress Judy Davis, who had to exit the production due for personal reasons.
Fairley is best known for HBO’s fantasy hit Game of Thrones where she played Catelyn Stark for three seasons. Last year, she had a recurring role on USA’s Suits.
Live Another Day brings Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) to London in a new action-packed adventure.

Jack Bauer is back and stuff is blowing up, that’s more or less the message we’ve gathered from the four teasers for 24: Live Another Day that aired during tonight’s Super Bowl. The highly anticipated “event” series, a sequel to 24‘s eight year run on Fox, will follow a fugitive Jack Bauer sucked back into the fight against global terror while in London. Many key cast members from the series are returning, including Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane, but what trouble will they get up to? Let’s find out.
Doesn’t offer much, does it? Then again, shooting just began on the miniseries in London, so we’ll likely have to wait a bit longer to see any significant footage.
Here’s the official plot summary, it should provide a few more details.

Exclusive: Meet the first two new series regulars on Fox‘s 24: Live Another Day. The Wire alum Gbenga Akinnagbe and Giles Matthey (Jobs) have been cast in the next chapter in the 24 franchise that will be set and filmed in London. The limited series, from 20th TV, Imagine TV and Teakwood Lane, picks up the story four years after the 24 series finale, which left Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) as a fugitive from justice. Four years later, he is back on the run, this time in Europe. Akinnagbe, repped by Silver Lining and Nelson Davis Wetzstein, will play the much-easier-to-pronounce Erik Ritter, a strong, sharp, arrogant and ambitious CIA field operative. He has recurred on The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie and Graceland. Matthey, repped by Gersh, Untitled and Independent Talent UK, will play Jordan Reed, a smart and sophisticated CIA computer tech. He previously recurred on True Blood. The two join returning 24 castmembers Sutherland,...
