Cari Eden Kindl

Cari Kindl was born Carrie Lynn Edenfield in Jacksonville Florida. She
moved with her mother and step-family moved to New Orleans,Louisiana,
Hico, Texas, Albuquerque and eventually Carlsbad, New Mexico where she
became a DJ just after graduation. Her real ambition was to write and
perform her own music so she learned to play guitar joined a band
called London with bassist Jeff W. Berryman and guitarist Reese Lucas.
Together they wrote and produced their first 45. Magic in Her Eyes was
the A side written by Lucas and the B side was Sad Day, Cari's first
published song.
Cari moved back to Florida in 1983 where she continued to try to get the single on radio stations and started a new cover band called The Betweeners with local musicians, Larry Raulerson, Tim Tyree and Tommy Ting. Playing covers was not fulfilling for her and after many years of trying to gain recognition doing covers and a failed marriage she focused her energy into her children and her career as a hair stylist. She continued to license her songs when she could to Disney and independent films. The song, Bits and Pieces is featured in the movie An Intimate Friendship which also features a song from Melissa Etheridge.
In 2001 "Carrie" changed her name to Cari Eden and got a new original act together known as the Cari Eden Band with John Metcalf, Mike Herrington and Terry Singletary. The band and these powerful rock songs were receiving rave reviews performing at clubs like Jack Rabbit's and Freebird Café and recorded Dreaming of Oz which ended up having a high energy southern rock sound. But just as things were going well personal issues with band members tore the band apart. Cari
She moved to her mother's cabin in the foothills of the Appalachians near Tallahassee, Florida with new husband and love of her life, Russell Kindl. After a long hiatus and seriously considering giving up performing, Cari Kindl decided to learn all aspects of music production and record her own solo album. By 2010 she released The Amazing Nowhere Girl. From that album the song Bottomless Wishing Well is featured in the hit series,They Live Among Us- Episode 5. Her latest album is Superficial Journey released in 2012.
Cari is re "Kindl"ing the band flame with former lead guitarist John Metcalf and new additions, drummer, Larry Garrett; bassist, Michael "Rev" Metzger and keyboardist, David Schiffman. They kicked off their new project performing at Tallahassee's July 6th, 2013 Saturday in the Park Concert.
