From the beginning, things haven’t been easy in Oa’s (Zeeko Zaki) relationship with Gemma (Comfort Clinton) on FBI, and based on TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the May 7 episode, that’s not about to change. In “No One Left Behind,” the team is thrown into a highly political case after four members of the Taliban are shot and one is kidnapped in New York with no record of their entrance into the country. This case hits close to home for Oa, who served in the U.S. Army and struggles to open up to Gemma about his past in Afghanistan. Case in point: our clip. “I heard you talking on the phone in the bathroom,” Gemma tells Oa. “Who’s Anna? You seem to care a lot about her.” He does share that she’s the widow of a guy he served with in Afghanistan, but that’s it.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI Season 6 Episode 3 “Stay in Your Lane.”] Sorry, Oa (Zeeko Zaki). We just don’t think this new romance is going to work out. The latest FBI episode not only introduced his new girlfriend, Gemma (Comfort Clinton), but it also, in the same scene, set up why it’s doomed to fail. After Maggie (Missy Peregrym) spotted Oa with Gemma, he told her that they’ve been dating for three weeks and he makes her happy. “You really like her,” Maggie could tell. “She’s different. I’ve never met anybody like her. She grew up Upper East Side, penthouses, private schools, she’s down to earth, fun,” he said. “Almost too good to be true.” His partner agreed that she “probably is.” So already, we’re looking at this relationship as one that likely won’t last. Then, a bit later, Oa remarked that Gemma called him out for being “a kid ...

But according to Gemma, her friend was just kidding. That’s when Oa’s partner, Maggie (Missy Peregrym), gets out of her car, spots him with Gemma, and sees them kiss goodbye. When Oa sees Maggie, he stops before looking back to where Gemma’s walking away. Maggie has fun mocking his wave to his girlfriend and teasing him as he joins her. “She makes me happy,...
