CNN Worldwide promoted Jim Murphy to Vice President of Morning Programming for U.S. Wednesday, the network confirmed to TheWrap. The network’s Worldwide Chief, Jeff Zucker, made the announcement during a morning editorial meeting. Murphy previously served as senior executive producer for “Early Start and “New Day,” and will continue to oversee the network’s 4 a.m.-9 a.m. block.
