Mariah Huq, "Queen Bee" and sophisticated and fierce mother of two from
Chattanooga Tennessee, brings a new definition to the term "working
mom." Enjoying a strong, multicultural marriage to Dr. Aydin Huq, an
emergency physician and native of Bangladesh, Mariah juggles family and
career with their two children, Lauren-Taylor, 8, and Ethan-Tyler, 6.
Mariah openly embraces her husband's culture by, learning to cook
traditional Indian food and studying Bengali. Mariah is a former Public
Affairs News Anchor and Producer. She is mastermind and Executive Producer behind
Married to Medicine, she spent 4 years pitching the show. Mariah has a
full life. To top it off, Mariah runs two successful brands. Jewel and
Jem children's bedding & pajama line with her sister Lake, which is
expected to launch in Macy's department stores. She is also co-owner of
Cinnamon Girl Diet and Nutrition Brands.
On October 22, 2014 it was reported that she is expecting twins (her 3rd & 4th children) with her husband Dr. Aydin Huq, but on November 11th it was reported that she miscarried both babies.
