Hey, "Empire" fans. Unfortunately, we have some pretty bad news to deliver in this article. The upcoming episode 5 of this current season 4 is getting delayed for a possible two weeks! It's definitely not going to air next Wednesday, October 25,2017 due to Fox covering the big Game 2 of the World Series. What could make this even worse is if the series is driven to seven games. That means the show would not air on Wednesday night, November 1,2017 as well! This is a big "if" though. It has happened in the past. In fact, it just happened last year causing Empire to be delayed for two weeks. We certainly hope that doesn't happen this year, but...

Empire still reigns as one of the hottest shows on TV right now. With all of the jaw-dropping drama, fashion, music, and eye candy it provides every Wednesday, it's easy to see why. One of the sexiest stars on the hit show is Trai Byers, who plays Andre Lyon, one of three brothers vying to inherit their father's megasuccessful record label. You may recognize the 32-year-old actor from the movie Selma or the CW series 90210, but there's no denying that this show is his breakout role. Keep scrolling to see 22 times Trai made hump day the hottest day of the week.

The Lyons are not going anywhere.
Ranking as TV's number one drama has a whole lot of perks.
Fox announced at the TCA winter press tour that the show would be back for an 18-episode fourth season during the 2017-2018 TV season.
The soapy drama has continued to dip in the ratings this season.
Empire Season 3 is currently averaging 8.7 million viewers and a 3.2 rating among adults 18-49.
These figures represent a decline of almost 30 percent.
However, it's still a force to be reckoned with when delayed viewing is added in.

In the season 3 winter finale of Empire, Andre Lyon set out his game plan for the world -- or, at least, Empire. His plan is domination: learn how to handle his bipolar disorder on his own, establish himself as an irreplaceable part of the Empire machine and last, but certainly not least, kill Lucious Lyon, his father and Empire's founder and overlord.

Let’s nominate Andre Lyon to compete on an upcoming episode of Chopped.
Mind you, I have absolutely no idea if Empire‘s eldest son has any culinary skills whatsoever, but what he does (or had done) to a precocious little girl’s lustrous locks on this week’s episode tells me the man knows what to do when armed with a pair of kitchen shears.

Man, Andre Lyon can’t catch a break. In the final minutes of Wednesday’s Empire, Cookie and Lucious’ eldest son — still reeling from the tragic death of wife Rhonda — was racially profiled by two white police officers, who arrested him on suspicion of burglarizing his own home.
Below, co-producer Carlito Rodriguez, who penned the episode with Cherien Dabis, spoke to TVLine about the decision to make the beleaguered, grieving widower the entry point for the #BlackLivesMatter-themed storyline. The scribe also weighed in on the installement’s other big development: The arrival of Taye Diggs’ Angelo Dubois as Cookie’s new foil-turned-crush interest.
