- Ilchi Lee is a South Korean world activist, educator, and New York Times bestselling author of more than 40 books published in 16 languages. His teachings combine Korean Taoist philosophies of holistic empowerment with Western neuroscientific research to awaken one to the optimal use of the human brain. He envisions and actively promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health for individuals, communities, and the planet as a whole.
In 2012, Lee began the project of translating his message from books to film, with the introduction of "Change: The LifeParticle Effect," for which he served as executive producer and writer. This film is based on the idea that the entire universe is ultimately made up of the same stuff--elementary particles of energy and consciousness, that everything exists as potential, just waiting for individuals to choose how they want life to present itself. Understanding this can be the impetus for personal transformation.
According to Ilchi Lee "everyone wants to develop and change, but may not know how. This movie is about how to use your brain well to create meaningful change." In addition to producing the film, Lee appears in the film along with authors Neale Donald Walsch, Dr. Stuart Hameroff, and Dr. Mariale Hardiman.
Ilchi Lee's "Bird of the Soul" is an illustrated storybook that was adapted into an animated film in 2014. The colorful presentation appeals to children, but the story contains a timeless message of hope for people of all ages. Following the journey of the main character from childhood to adulthood, the viewer learns how there is always a way back to reconnect with what matters most.
In 2014, Lee also produced a sequel to the 2012 film. "Change: The Brain and Divinity" endeavors to answer the question of what the human brain can do. It highlights the brain as the means to fulfilling human potential, both on a personal and global scale. It gives a fresh look at how the brain works--not its cells and circuits, but the guidelines that can be used for mastering its functions and discovering the vast potential for growth and change that lies within all of us.
Lee highlights a universal energy principle at the foundation of this growth in his 2022 production, "Love Heals: Using the Ancient Wisdom of Energy to Journey Within." This documentary follows the story of Dana and other chronic pain suffers as they discover how learning to generate proper energy flow in the body not only makes them healthier, but leads them back to themselves. With the help of medical professionals and energy healing practitioners, they find genuine, deep love for themselves.
In addition to his work in film and the written word, Ilchi Lee serves as the founder and president of the Global Cyber University, the University of Brain Education, and the IBREA Foundation, an NGO in special consultative status with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs that uses Ilchi Lee's Brain Education method to promote peace and wellness in communities and individuals.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Phil
