Darian Ward is an award winning, nationally recognized, television, radio, and film veteran, with a proven track record of success, and a wicked sense of humor. As an executive producer, TV personality, public relations guru, and content creator, she has traveled to Israel, South Africa, England, Turkey, and Germany learning about cutting-edge technology, entertainment and entrepreneurship while providing strategic counsel on message development and media relations for the fourth largest city in the US.
For more than 15 years, Darian anchored news shows on affiliates of CBS, NBC, FOX and BET, winning an Edward R. Murrow Award during her time at WCCO in Minneapolis. Her lifestyle TV series "Press Pass to the City" won three Texas TV awards. Darian spent nine years as a Houston anchor and reporter with KRIV-TV (FOX) and was the spokesperson for (HAS) one of the largest Airport Systems in the country which carries 50 million passengers a year. She has hosted several series including "Strategies for Success," "Military Makeover," "The Good Life" and "Houston Airports Today." Darian was the consulting producer for the TV series "Keeping Up with the Jones" and has been recognized by the Producers Guild of America PROSHOW Conference. She was selected as a NATPE FOX Fellow and a Top 25 Influential Women of Houston.
Darian also founded Joy in Motion Productions, a multi-media firm which specializes in public relations, media, strategic marketing, and video production. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and broadcast management and was captain of the tennis team. Darian is a board member of the Smahrt Girl Foundation and cancer charity Friday Harbor. She is a member of the Minority Cannabis Business Association and believes the rapidly expanding industry provides healing in pain management, creativity for artists and opportunities for generational wealth.
