TedxLAU 2014 speaker and a Lebanese film and theatre director with a BA in Communication Arts, emphasis in Radio, Film, TV and Theatre, he also holds an MFA in Cinema Art + Science from Columbia College Chicago. He directed, produced and wrote several independent local and international short-films and documentaries, which have participated and won awards in festivals worldwide. His stage adaptations of Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge", Gibran Khalil Gibran's "The Prophet", Dante Alighieri's "Inferno" and "Purgatorio" from "The Divine Comedy", and Wu Cheng'en's classical novel "Journey to the West" has made him proficient in conducting rehearsals, and well-versed in the acting methods of Stanislavsky, along with Meyerhold's "Biomechanics", furthering his career as a director, writer, and educator. Aside from these endeavors, he works as a freelance light-designer, organizer, coordinator, consultant and technical director for performing arts and events, such as the "Next Festival"for short-films and performances, and the annual "Emigrants Festival" in Dhour Chouier. Throughout his ventures, he has collaborated and worked with prominent artists and directors such as Lina Khoury, Nagy Souraty, Nada Bou Farhat, Gabrielle Yammine and Nidal Al Ashkar.
A teacher of Drama, Film Studies and IB Theatre in Brummana High School from 2015 till 2018, and an instructor of Film, TV, Theatre and Public Speaking at the Lebanese American University since 2015, he teaches courses such as Art of Film, Visual Effects, Filmmaking Principles, Theatre in Performance and Stage Production. In addition, he is an instructor of acting at Imagine Summer Arts Camp since 2016, supervised by LAU, which offers kids and teenagers (ages 11 - 16) high-level classes in performing arts, making it one of the most unique camps in Lebanon.
