Liam Brennan is an Irish-Canadian Screenwriter and Story Editor. After completing his Master's
in Journalism from Dublin-based Independent College, Liam began his career in the film industry
in 2011 with Toronto-based Frantic Films, where he helped research and develop numerous
television projects including the award-winning THE BARONESS VON SKETCH SHOW. In 2013,
Liam took a position as Development Executive with Buffalo Gal Pictures, helping to develop
feature films including TRENCH 11, BOREALIS, THROUGH BLACK SPRUCE, GUY MADDIN'S
THE FORBIDDEN ROOM, and HEAVEN IS FOR REAL.
In late 2014, Liam developed his own original drama series entitled RECOVERY in the National Screen Institute of Canada's Totally Television Program. The script finished in the top 1% of entries in the BBC Drama Room in 2018 and was one of five projects selected to the inaugural Ireland-Canada Co-Development Fund between Screen Ireland and Creative BC. Liam has also served as a screenwriting instructor, a programming consultant, and a script analyst for numerous online script coverage services, most recently helping to develop Shia LaBeouf's latest feature, HONEY BOY.
