Viewed through a certain lens, Jumanji can be classified as a horror film. A young boy being sucked into a board game, left to fend for himself in the wild for decades? Another young boy turned into a hideous monkey-person? Giant, skittering spiders dripping with poison? A massive, bloodthirsty plant? All the Robin Williams jokes in the world can't erase the fact that the 1995 movie is essentially a nightmarish spin on every parents' "it's just a game" ethos. There's no mistaking the genre of the Halloween-themed episode of Hulu's Into the Dark, though, which takes the scariest elements from Jumanji and runs with them.
Into the Dark is Hulu's anthology series in partnership with Blumhouse, which has steadily churned out an episode of season-appropriate horror since premiering last October. Though it's usually hit-and-miss - I recommend December's "New Year, New You," episode starring Suki Waterhouse and Carly Chaikin, and...

None of Freeform's current programs get the kind of Nielsen ratings that Pretty Little Liars earned, so it's no wonder the former ABC Family cable network brought back I. Marlene King to adapt another Sara Shepherd book series, and turned it into a Pll spinoff -- the Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists TV show. Will it be able to draw in both fans of the original and some new viewers, too? Will Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is just weeks away, and the promotional train is well underway.
Freeform has now released the official poster, and we have a lot of thoughts.
It features returning liars, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) and Mona (Janel Parrish) alongside new liars Ava (Sofia Carson), Caitlin (Sydney Park), and Dylan (Eli Walker).
All five liars are wearing masks, but Alison is front and center with her finger in front of her lips. It is clearly a callback to the signature "shh" sign the original series was known for.
"New Lies. New Liars," is the tagline on the poster. It's certainly a good way to promote the series for the fans of the original series that are still clamoring for more twists and turns.

Freeform shared the poster on its social media pages for Pretty Little Liars, clearly trying to capitalize on that show.

Move over Rosewood.
It's time to let Beacon Heights shine.
Freeform unveiled the official trailer for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists during TCA, and one thing's for sure:
This new series is going to be just as addictive as the original series.
Maybe it's the theme tune. I can't quite put my finger on it.
Moving the action to another city, and taking some Og characters along for the ride may well be a genius idea.
The trailer successfully sets up the mystery ahead, while also revealing a spoiler of epic of proportions.
"Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be," says the official description of the series.
"The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.

Happy Thursday,"Pretty Little Liars" fans. We've got some more pretty interesting and great news for you guys on "The Perfectionists" spin off front. The production team has decided to bring on another female character that will be a recurring role. That means she won't be a season regular, but we'll see her just enough to remember that she even exists. The character we are speaking of will be named Dana. The description for Dana is that she will be the new head of security at Beacon Heights University. She will be determined and perceptive almost to the point of omniscience. After recent events, Dana will keep Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Mona (Janel Parrish) and the Perfectionists on their toes. Wow, her character sounds like she will mean pretty serious business. According the folks over at Deadline.com, the actress who is playing her is someone that most of you guys might actually recognize.

Pretty Little Liars may be over, but Pll: The Perfectionists will continue the story for two beloved characters in a brand new location, and it's shaping up to be a decent spin-off.
Freeform today dropped a brand new sneak peek that shows Alison Dilaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) getting the fright of her life while investigating a strange noise.
The person making that noise is a knife-wielding Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish), but it's all good because Mona brought pie.
If you watched Pretty Little Liars online, you know that Alison and Mona went at it multiple times on the original series, so having them together in a new show is sure to cause some drama.
