- Was a substitute teacher/teacher's aid for elementary school for years, and considered going to school to be a second grade teacher as she loves English and feels second grade has high emphasis on reading and writing. She is a huge lover of teaching and children.
- Jaclyn's middle name Kiah (pronounced Ky-ah) is Zulu African and means the beginning of a season.
- Jaclyn has a very goofy sense of humor and has considered doing stand up comedy.
- Her favorite film is Kill Bill (volumes 1 and 2) She said if she could work with any director tomorrow, whether it be acting for, co-directing with, co-writing with, or even just having a drink with it would be Quentin Tarantino.
- Her favorite musical role is Roxie Hart from Chicago, and favorite theater role is Evelyn from The Shape of Things.
- Jaclyn was cast in two different films being filmed in the same state in the same summer. Those were her first auditions for films. She filmed a scene from Greater on her birthday, June 10th.
- Her father is from New Jersey, her Mother was born and raised in South Africa, and she has one older brother who was born in Ft. Lauderdale, where she was also born.
- Jaclyn said the first scene she ever filmed for a movie, was in a tiny restaurant. It was 92 degrees outside, and for sound purposes they had to switch off the air conditioning inside the restaurant. There was food all over the table, that they had to keep re-positioning after takes, and most of the food was fried. She said after that day of shooting she was sweating profusely from top to bottom, and vowed never to eat fried food again. But still enjoyed every second of it.
- Jaclyn was elated when she found out she was going to get to work with Joey Lauren Adams who she has been a fan of for years, in Valley Inn, but when Joey entered her trailer for makeup, she completely froze up and then asked a bunch of redundant questions and felt incredibly embarrassed.
- She is classically trained in voice, and loves singing arias in Latin and Italian.
