Hotline Miami is one of the best examples of new, unique, and brilliant gameplay emerging from smaller indie studios, and its sequel is set to offer even more of the ultra-violent, tactical twitch shooting, with the stylish retro visuals capping it all off.
However, despite actioning an adult, 18 rating, the Australian Classification Board has deemed the game too offensive due to an implied rape scene, and has banned the game outright. So when it does arrive (there's no release date as yet other than 'very soon'), consenting Australian gamers will be out of luck - or will they?
Obviously a little miffed at the decision to ban the game, one of the game's designers, Jonatan Söderström, has advised gamers in Australia to pirate it when it's released.
