Fiona Leitch is a screenwriter and novelist based on the sunny South Coast of the UK. She specializes in romantic comedy and thriller screenplays with feisty, funny, female protagonists, and is a sucker for a happy ending.
Her screenwriting work includes romantic comedies 'The National Theatre of Nowhere, Nebraska' and the Westminster/Brexit set 'Parliamentary Affairs', which was optioned in 2018; her spy/crime thriller 'Lost in Berlin' was a finalist in New York's Athena Film Festival Screenwriting Lab 2017, run in conjunction with Meryl Streep's IRIS company. Two other screenplays were shortlisted for BBC Writersroom initiatives in 2016.
Her debut black romantic comedy/crime novel 'Dead in Venice' was released by Audible as one of their Crime Grant finalists in September 2018. Fiona has recently completed her second novel, the Paris-set romantic comedy 'Priceless', and is working on the follow up to 'Dead in Venice'.
