Where would The X Factor be without its strange and hilarious auditions? From furious contestants to a sick bag being called for, it's more than just a music competition.
The judges deserve credit too. These bizarre audition gems couldn't happen without them. Check out our favourites, brought to you in association with TalkTalk's new Bopheads app:
1. Ant and Seb (2008)
The Welsh brothers were a mismatched pair if ever there was one. Ant didn't have a bad pair of lungs on him, but - to put it mildly - Seb wasn't quite so gifted.
From this we can gather that Ant is either a) the best brother a guy could wish for or b) completely deaf in his left ear.
2. Holly 'Big Mouth' Jervis (2008)
Over-confidence is rarely a good sign on The X Factor. The holiday camp performer might have sung to people all across the country, but her 'big and...

Sharon Osbourne has a mixed history with The X Factor but the former judge has said that she is saddened by its dip in ratings.
She was a judge on the show for the first four series from 2004 to 2007 and returned in 2013 to finally have her contestant win the show when Sam Bailey was the 10th series winner.

"I'm not watching it but Louis [Walsh] has been telling me that the figures are down on the show, which saddens me," Sharon told the Absolute Radio Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show.
"Basically, it's not going as well as it could be. It's impossible for a show like that to keep on top year after year.
"It reaches its peak and each year it chips away and slowly goes down and down and down."

Former X Factor winner Sam Bailey reveals that while she has no regrets about taking part on the show, she criticised Beyoncé's lack of "decency" when they performed together.
Speaking to The Sunday Times magazine, the 38-year-old ex-prison guard recalled: "I supported Beyoncé as part of my X Factor prize, but she didn't even bother to meet me. I'd never do that. I'd have the decency to say hello.
"Who does she think she is?"
She added that Beyoncé got her comeuppance, recollecting: "But I got my own back. When she was on stage, I was at the front, and while she was proper going for it my son spent the whole time playing Minecraft on his iPad."
Bailey also revealed that winning the ITV show remains her "career high", but she's not convinced by new judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.

The X Factor's Olly Murs has some advice for fans ahead of the new series - "expect the unexpected".
The 'Seasons' singer, who will be presenting the new series alongside Caroline Flack, hinted that much of the talent is not where you would assume to find it.
"There are girls and guys and groups who you don't expect to be good and then they become world beaters," he told the Daily Mail, though he also insisted that there is the usual mix of X Factor novelties too.
"The eccentrics are always a major part of the show. I can't even reveal what's happened but there have been a few instances where I've got up on stage and danced.
"That's the nature of the beast. I've been a part of it and it's a great feeling to find a talent that you don't expect to be talented."

The X Factor winner Sam Bailey has admitted that she isn't impressed with the show's new judging lineup - explaining that she'd rather have Michael Bolton and Celine Dion.
Bailey, who triumphed on The X Factor in 2013, told The Mirror that she doesn't think she would have done well when faced with young judges Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
"The Overs don't stand a chance this year," she said. "Would I survive? No, because three of the judges are very young and looking for young talent.
"You have got someone from Radio 1 and I'm not really played on Radio 1. So I wouldn't have much of a look-in there. I'm a bit confused about the Nick Grimshaw thing."
Bailey continued: "Rita Ora has only been in the business a few years but I've been in it for 20 years. They will be looking for a new star - someone who...

Two Overs in The X Factor Grand Finale. Who'd-a-thunk it?
Fleur East and Ben Haenow have beaten off Jack Walton, Stereo Kicks and Stevi Ritchie (oh, behave!) to make it to Wembley tonight.
And although we won't be seeing Andi Peters at the CD printing press (more for shame), we can expect more Louis Walsh, celebratory sausages and One Direction.
Crack out the eggnog and join Digital Spy as we await the news of whether Fleur or Ben will follow the illustrious steps of Shayne Ward, Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson to take The X Factor crown.
Even more exciting than that, we're also hoping for an update on whether Labrinth ever had his wisdom teeth out...
22:01Anyway, that's it everyone! With one last plug for the tour, we're over and out. Goodnight all!
21:59There are too many X Factor finalists there with shaved sides of their heads.

We're down to our final three on The X Factor - Andrea, Ben, and Fleur, in case you've somehow missed the news - and the final is just days away. Days. But of course the one thing we all want to know is what the winner's single will be - is it going to be a surprise triumph or a horrific failure?
All this speculation got us looking back at the X Factor winner's singles of the past - the good, the bad, the terrible. And, of course, we just had to rank them, didn't we? Read on for our view of how they all stack up...
10. 'Hallelujah' - Alexandra Burke
One thing we discovered when we began this ranking is that the quality of the winner's single is no reflection of the quality of the artist. Take this monstrosity. Alexandra is obviously hugely talented and could have had an amazing first record.

Lauren Platt has been eliminated from The X Factor.
This means that Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini have made it through to the final next weekend (December 13, 14).
It was revealed by host Dermot O'Leary that Platt and Faustini were the bottom two acts of the week, before they both performed in a sing off to fight for their place in the final.
Platt sang 'There You'll Be', while Faustini performed 'Who You Are' by Jessie J.
Cheryl wanted to send home Faustini, while Mel B stuck with her act and sent home Platt.
Louis Walsh decided to send home Platt, which Simon Cowell agreed with.
Platt said: "Firstly, I want to say thank you to everybody who voted for me and got me this far.
"Secondly, I want to say thank you to the most incredible women I have ever met in my life."

Sharon Osbourne met with her godchild, Sam Bailey's baby daughter, for the first time backstage at Loose Women today (November 7).
The former X Factor judge, who mentored Bailey when she won the ITV talent show last year, held and later fed Miley Beau in the studio's green room.
Osbourne joined the panel as a co-host and discussed the return of her former MTV reality TV show The Osbournes and her battle with depression.
Bailey spoke on the show about suffering from Bell's palsy.
Speaking about being a godparent, Osbourne enthused: "It's the first time I've been asked to be a godparent so it's huge for me. It's really overwhelming, you feel so honoured to be put in that position of trust and it's just wonderful, I love it."
On seeing baby Miley for the first time, she said: "Oh my goodness, she's so gorgeous, what a perfect little angel.

Simon Cowell has described last year's X Factor as "predictable".
With a judging panel featuring Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne, the competition was won by prison guard Sam Bailey.
Speaking to Weekend magazine, he said: "It's the talent that really defines the show. Last year, it was Ok, but it wasn't my favourite year.

Nicole Scherzinger has called for Sharon Osbourne to return to The X Factor.
The former judge told heat Radio that Osbourne should fill the last remaining spot on the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh.
She said: "As the fourth judge? Oh Mrs O! Mrs O gives good old Simon Cowell a run for his money.
"Or I always say Jack Black or Will Ferrell just because they're funny humans and they actually have a good appreciation, Jack black has a great knowledge for music."
The X Factor: Could these four judges save the show?
Her comments come after Osbourne ruled out a return to the ITV talent show, after winning last year's series with her contestant Sam Bailey.
She originally quit the show in 2007 following a fall-out with former judge Dannii Minogue.
Former Spice Girl Mel B is the current favourite to become the fourth judge.

It's only a matter of days now before the X Factor judging panel for 2014 is confirmed. In fact, by the time you read this, a press release from ITV might be going through the final stages of checks and could be posted any moment.

Sharon Osbourne says ''there is no more talent'' to find on 'The X Factor'. The 61-year-old music manager quit her judging role on the singing competition after guiding Sam Bailey to victory last year, and she claims talent shows have become an oversaturated market, leaving little undiscovered talent out there. Sharon told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''I feel it has been overfished. There is no more talent out there. Any serious musician is not going to go on a show.'' The outspoken star previously insisted her reality TV judging days were behind her after serving on the panel of 'The X Factor' for...

Sharon Osbourne has suggested that she no longer wants to work on TV talent shows.
The former X Factor and America's Got Talent judge hit out at all such competitions on Conan O'Brien's show, saying that she finds them "boring".
"Too contrived, boring, boring, boring. If I see another judge cry, and then as soon as they go out the door, we burst out laughing," she said.
Osbourne also criticised the plethora of sob stories on talent shows, saying: "Contestants have either got one lung, one kidney, or they've all got somebody sick in hospital.
"It is like, 'Oh lord, shut up and sing'."
Sharon Osbourne returned to The X Factor as a judge in 2013, tearing up when her act Sam Bailey was crowned the winner.
She will not be making a return to the series this year, while Cheryl Cole will make a comeback along with Simon Cowell.

Sharon Osbourne is adamant she won't return to 'The X Factor'. The 61-year-old star - who won the show last year with her act Sam Bailey - was considering staying on the panel alongside returning judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole, but she's now decided to turn her back on the programme because it would be too much. She told The Sun newspaper: ''I cannot go there ... I can't.'' However, the feisty judge thinks Cheryl's return to the panel will spice things up a bit because the chemistry between her and show boss Simon is guaranteed to spark some fireworks. Sharon explained:...

Nicole Scherzinger may quit The X Factor to focus on promoting her upcoming studio album.
The Pussycat Dolls star has been on the judging panel of the UK show for two years but is eager to support the planned follow-up to 2011's Killer Love.
"Nicole is still in discussions with X Factor bosses about the show," Scherzinger's representatives told Digital Spy when asked about new reports ruling her out of this year's show.
Scherzinger has been working on new solo material for some time and the album is said to be almost complete and due for a summer release.
Sources close to the singer say that she has long planned to devote 2014 to her own music, but her attachment to her "X Factor family" is making the final decision difficult.

Simon Cowell will return to judge the UK X Factor in 2014, it has been confirmed.
Cowell is the first judge announced for the show's 11th series and the rest of the panel will be revealed in the coming months.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be returning to The X Factor UK. It's been three years since I last judged the competition and I'm excited to find a global superstar again," said Cowell.
"The UK X Factor has set the benchmark in finding worldwide superstars over the years - including One Direction, Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd, Olly Murs, Jls and Little Mix."
Cowell departed the UK series in 2011 to launch a Us version of the talent show for the Fox network. However, the Us series got off to a bad start with first pick judge Cheryl Cole leaving after only a few days of filming and original host Steve Jones being mocked by American TV critics.

It's barely been a month since she won The X Factor, but Sam Bailey has already completed work on her debut album The Power Of Love, a collection of covers with a sprinkling of original songs that comes out next month.
We met up with her to talk about how she's coping with fame, what her first conversation with Simon Cowell was like and her incredible duet with Nicole Scherzinger on the series final.
On life since winning The X Factor:

Dermot O'Leary has discussed his role on The X Factor, saying that the show would be a disaster if he were to become a judge.
O'Leary - who has hosted the ITV singing competition since 2007 - said he is happy with the position he already holds.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, he said: "I always used to get asked, 'Would you like to be a judge?' and to start with I thought, 'Yeah, I'd love to be a judge', but in actual fact I wouldn't want to be a judge. I love doing the gig I'm doing.
"If that show is what it purports to be, that people can just come from nowhere like Sam Bailey did - she's a prison officer and now hopefully she can have a great singing career - then you have to get experts on the panel.
"You can't have jokers on there like me.
