Barry Hutchison is an award-winning novelist, comic book writer, and screenwriter from the Highlands of Scotland.
Since 2010 Barry has written over 150 books for publishers including HarperCollins, Little Brown and Penguin, under a variety of pen names. In 2016 he formed his own publishing company, which publishes his popular Space Team comedy sci-fi series, and the multi-million selling DCI Jack Logan crime series, which he writes under the name JD Kirk.
For the screen, Barry wrote the majority of the Children's comedy series, "Bottom Knocker Street" - 36 of the 52 episodes - the "Kip Van Creepy: Delivery Boy" for Dreamworks TV, and has a number of feature projects at various stages of development.
After writing a comic book series based on the characters in Stoopid Buddy Studios' "SuperMansion," Barry was asked to write an episode of the third season of the show, starring Bryan Cranston and Chris Pine.
