Harry Hill has confessed to Digital Spy that he was "worried" Simon Cowell would heavily censor his X Factor musical.
The comedian said before the Royal Variety Performance yesterday (November 25) that Cowell has "done the decent thing" and not meddled with the West End production.
"He's done the decent thing and let us get on with it," Hill revealed. "We had a few meetings early on, then he came to the workshop and he just said, 'Fine, great, carry on'.
"I was worried about that aspect. I thought, 'Oh maybe he's going to fiddle with it all the time'. But it's served us well because he's stuck in America, basically.
"He has been incredibly supportive. He's been our number one supporter and he'll be there on opening night with all his showbiz pals."

So join Digital Spy from 8pm as we pop open a Wkd and get into the groove for the fourth live show...
