James Charles fans likely know that the YouTube beauty phenom recently purchased a new house -- though unfortunately, it turns out, some followers appear to have tracked down the 19-year-old’s address and are showing up at his front door unannounced.
Like many YouTubers before him, Charles sternly asked his followers yesterday -- which totals 11.4 million YouTube subscribers and 11.5 million Instagram followers -- to stop coming to his home. “I will not hug you, I will not take a photo with you, and I absolutely will not sign your [eyeshadow] palette,” he tweeted. “It is extremely disrespectful and makes me feel very unsafe in my own home. Respect people’s privacy, it’s really not that hard.”
Apparently, though, it's a violation that has become a common occurrence for digital celebrities, whose fame is predicated on fostering a sense of familiarity. In the past, YouTube couples like Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes...

YouTube stars Gavin Free and Meg Turney are lucky to be alive after surviving a harrowing home-invasion attack from a man described as “single, lonely and disturbed” who had apparently developed an obsession with Turney — and intended to murder Free. In yet another harrowing incident of a deranged fan targeting popular YouTube stars, the couple Gavin Free and Meg Turney reportedly hid in the closet of their Austin home in the middle of the night late last month while a man with a gun unsuccessfully attempted to locate them, firing off one full round in their house.
While the couple were ultimately unharmed, the perpetrator, Christopher Giles, encountered police after leaving Free and Turney's home after 10 minutes, reports the Albuquerque Journal. Free and Turney reportedly called 911 from their closet, and Giles was met by officers in the driveway, where shots were fired. Giles was pronounced dead on the scene -- though it has yet to be confirmed whether he killed himself or if he was shot by one of the officers.

SourceFed is back...sort of. Four the news/commentary/comedy channel's original hosts -- Elliott Morgan, Joe Bereta, Lee Newton, and Steve Zaragoza -- have reunited to launch a new venture called The Valleyfolk, which looks as if it will be a spiritual successor to SourceFed.
Beginning in 2012, Morgan, Bereta, Newton, and Zaragoza (along with Meg Turney and Trisha Hershberger) began hosting cheeky, bite-sized videos, which often broke down strange or outlandish stories from the news. Thanks in part to their shared charisma and chemistry, SourceFed flourished and became one of YouTube's best channels. Such success proved fleeting. Morgan and Bereta left the channel in 2014 and Newton said goodbye in 2015, among other departures. The resulting high rate of turnover contributed to SourceFed's cancelation in March 2017.
Less than a year after that door closed, another has opened. Morgan, Bereta, Newton, and Zaragoza are starting anew in hopes of providing fans...

I’m a big fan of the DC rockabilly universe that was started by the fans. It gives the characters such a fun and unique look. I believe it all started with a series of art created by Denis Medri back in 2012. Since then, we’ve seen a ton of DC-inspired rockabilly art and cosplay. You can see a lot of the stuff we previously posted involving this stuff here.
This latest group of cosplayers include the three main femme fatale's of the DC universe: Harley Quinn (Meg Turney), Poison Ivy (Chloe Dykstra), and Catwoman (Michele Morrow). The photos you see here were taken by Greg De Stefano. As you can see, the characters are wonderfully designed and they perfectly fit the 1950s rockabilly vibe.

The last remaining member of SourceFed's original hosting team is leaving the channel. Lee Newton, who has spent the last three years delivering offbeat news stories on the Philip DeFranco-founded channel, has appeared in her final SourceFed video and said her goodbyes to her colleagues and fans.
Unlike Joe Bereta, who left SourceFed at the beginning of the year in order to take a job at Defy Media, Newton's post-SourceFed plans aren't known, but she will at least renew her presence on her personal channel, which she has updated infrequenty since joining SourceFed.
In 2012, Newton, along with Bereta and Elliott Morgan, appeared in SourceFed's first video. The channel has grown to reach 1.5 million subscribers and collect more than 716 million views, and along the way, it has undergone some personnel changes. In addition to Bereta, Morgan departed the channel in 2014, and several other early SourceFed hosts, such as Ross Everett and Meg Turney,...

SourceFed is one of the few YouTube channels to make the jump from the digital world to the real one with live events. Earlier this month, Austin-based entertainment studio Rooster Teeth (who now counts ex-SourceFed host Meg Turney as a member of its family) hosted...
