Primetime Emmy Award Winning producer, Sergio Jimenez is from Spain and is based in the south of the UK. At the age of 17, he moved to Barcelona to study at University and completed a Telecommunications Engineering degree. At the age of 21 he started his first company developing telecommunications projects and several years later co-founded in 2004 23Lunes Animation Studio, where he was managing director for over 11 years. In all that time, under Sergio's leadership, the company participated in many commercial as well as film and broadcast projects, such as Ender's Game. During this time Sergio also completed a Masters in Strategic Business Administration and several courses in Communication and PR.
In 2015 Sergio left the company 23lunes and re-starts his career as a freelance producer for other studios in Spain, as well as actively participated in the development of a VFX festival in Barcelona and collaborated with the University of La Salle Campus Barcelona to launch a new VFX and Animation Degree.
At the end of 2017, Sergio moved to Scotland to work as a Senior Producer for Axis Studios, where he had the opportunity to work on various projects including AAA video-game cinematic cut-scenes, episodic animated series, commercials and different pitches and proposals.
After 2 intense years at Axis, Sergio moved to Bournemouth in September 2019, where he worked at Outpost VFX as a Senior Producer managing Film and Broadcast projects.
In 2020, Sergio started working with Oscar, Emmy and Annie Award-winning director Alberto Mielgo, as Head of the Studio and Managing Director at Pinkman.tv, resulting in "Jibaro", an episode of the awarded Netflix Series "Love, Death and Robots".
