James Thomas Cox
James "Thomas" Cox was born in Beeville, Texas, USA on February 7, 1984. Cox is a 2002 graduate of A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, TX. He graduated from Coastal Bend College in Beeville, TX in December 2005 with an Associates Degree of Art in Music Education and an Associates Degree of Science in Accounting. Cox attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from January 2006 to May of 2009, graduating with a Bachelors Degree of Art in Communication with a Media Emphasis.
During his time at TAMUCC, Cox was involved with United Championship Wrestling, a local independent wrestling promotion based in Corpus Christi, TX. Through this experience, Cox became the weekly host of South Texas Slam, a television show highlighting local wrestling talent and promotions.
Following the closing of United Championship Wrestling, Cox co-promoted his own wrestling promotion from January to February 2009, Lone Star Wrestling, with Jonathan Sosa, the executive producer of South Texas Slam. Financial problems plagued LSW from the start, and it was forced to close in February 2009.
Today, Cox lives in his hometown of Beeville, TX with his wife Andrea, and is a speech and debate teacher with the Victoria Independent School District in Texas. He is currently enrolled at Full Sail University, pursuing a Masters Degree of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
