In 2005 quit the main tour. Stated his reasons are the sports poor management and the subsequent financial problems snooker was facing at the time.
Remains the sole referee for the Premier Snooker League taking charge of almost 300 matches over a 13 year spell Premier League Snooker.
Refereed both 9 Ball Pool and English Billiards World Championships.
Fan of rugby. Supports the Newport Gwent Dragons.
Is a professional snooker referee.
Became a qualified referee at the age of 15.

Also works as both a Tournament Director for many major tournaments and as one of only 3 assessors of professional referees.
Has been playing snooker since he was 13 years old.
Graduated from Hartridge Comprehensive School in 1987.
Attended Eveswell Infant and Junior schools in Newport, Wales, UK.
Has recently re-joined the main professional tour.
In December 1991, became the youngest member of the Professional Snooker Referees Association.
