- Michael Kittrell's viral classic "Gingers Do Have Souls!!" was parodied by South Park creators Matt Stone, and Trey Parker. The animation features the character Eric Cartman appearing as he did in the episode "Ginger Kids" and dressed as Michael standing in his driveway. South Park would use this parody on television, as a promotion for their season 14 premiere.
- Michael Kittrell's music video for his debut single "Gingerbread" premiered on FOX's show TmZ, and has obtained millions of views. The music video was funded by Ray J's record label, Knockout Entertainment.
- Ed Sheeran originally wanted to cast Michael Kittrell in the 2011 music video for his hit single "Lego House", but decided to instead go with Harry Potter actor, Rupert Grint. This was tweeted by Ed Sheeran himself stating, "We tried to get coppercab in it but he's abit to angry at the moment".
