Matt Potter is a British journalist, scriptwriter, and TV/radio broadcaster. Based in London, he has worked in Afghanistan, the former Yugoslavia and Africa among other places, writing and/or broadcasting for the Telegraph, the BBC, the Independent and more. His first book, 'Outlaws Inc.', was a non-fiction account of his time tracking arms-smuggling pilots from the former Soviet Union across the world's trouble-spots. It was published in a number of languages and territories including the US, UK, Germany and Australia, and was serialized in Men's Journal and Reader's Digest in dozens of languages. As a result of his investigations, he was one of the experts featured in Sundance Film Festival-prizewinning feature documentary 'The Notorious Mr Bout' by Tony Gerber and Maxim Pozdorovkin, which enjoyed a worldwide cinema release and BBC Storyville showing in 2014. 'Outlaws Inc.' is in production as an action movie as of September 2015, with 'Act Of Valor' director Scott Waugh at the helm. Matt's second major book, 'F*** You & Goodbye: A history of the world in resignations' was published by Little, Brown in 2014. He lives in London.
