- Dennis Zen is a writer, director, producer and actor, known for Audition of a Lifetime (2021), Lethal Weapon (2018), Served (II) (2018), and Break Time (2019).
Dennis, a funny Asian guy, hails from the Bay Area in San Jose, CA. He was accepted to San Jose State University where he earned his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering. As a result, he was blessed with a job as a Quality Assurance Engineer. But before working as an engineer, he knew in his heart that acting is what he truly wants to do. Being an actor, be it drama or comedy, as well as being the first Asian-American to win an Oscar for "Best-Actor," had been his biggest dream.
After taking acting classes at The Bay Area Acting Studio where he studied the Meisner Technique, he decided to take that leap of faith. After his company laid him off, he took that opportunity to move to Los Angeles. During his time in LA, he has helped many of his acting colleagues with behind-the-scene work, delved into screenwriting and learned much about producing. He has also written, produced and acted in some of his own work. Nothing will stop this Asian-sensation from making his dreams come true. And believe him, he will get that Oscar!- IMDb Mini Biography By: Dennis Zen
