We're nearing the finish line of the 11th season of America's Got Talent, and with half the field set for the finals, 11 more acts are hitting the stage hoping to join the Top 10.
The first set of semifinal results were mostly predictable, though few anticipated walking Italian stereotype Sal Valentinetti besting Deadly Games, Blake Vogt and Malevo to snag a spot without needing to be Dunkin' Saved or get help from the judges.

We have had ourselves an amazing three weeks of Olympic awesomeness in Rio. Now it’s back to business as America’s Got Talent returns with more acts performing for a spot in the semi-finals. Did they use the time during the Olympics to practise? Can they deliver a gold medal performance? I loved Kadan Rockett’s act tonight. He got out of all those handcuffs in nothing flat, and when he popped out of the large toolbox at the end, I was as speechless as Simon Cowell was, which amused me greatly. The stress is piling on in the final round of Judge Cuts on tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent. Some acts stepped it up and improved on their acts. Others all but crashed and burned as their performance wasn’t enough to send them through to the live shows. I loved Blake Vogt’s magic act. The end where he switched corners of the dollar bills was mind baffling. Though to be honest, I wasn’t paying as much attention to his act. I think that Jon Dorenbos’ act was better than Blakes’ act.
