Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Lennox Lewis is getting into a new ring: Unscripted TV. Lennox and executive producer Eric Van Wagenen are developing a boxing-related competition that “aims to bring boxing back to its roots as fighters from across the country are highlighted in a tournament style.”
The unscripted project is the first to come out of a new strategic partnership announced by Paul Telegdy’s The Whole Spiel shingle and management house 3Point0 Labs, led by Marquel Martin. “Lennox Lewis is a titan of the boxing world,” Telegdy said. “We couldn’t be more excited to be in business with him and have him at the helm of our first project.”
Lewis was a contestant in 2008 on “The Apprentice,” where Van Wagenen was an EP. Van Wagenen’s TV boxing credits also include “The Contender.”

Exclusive: LA management house 3Point0 Labs has acquired digital content agency Thirty Three Media.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but this marks a second recent investment for Marquel Martin’s 3Point0 Labs, following the launch of its talent and literary division earlier this month.
Thirty Three Media is social- and digital-first content agency that works with brands, entertainment figures and athletes such as Mma star Francis Ngannou. In that sense, it is a strong fit with 3Point0 Labs, whose founder Martin is the manager of UFC heavyweight champion and boxer Ngannou.
Further tying the two companies is the fact Thirty Three founder Randy Faehnrich is a producer, creator, and former head of social media at the UFC, where he oversaw huge growth at its social channels. The Bachelor has been a reality TV show mainstay since it debuted in 2002, but there are signs that interest in the original show is in decline. For the first time, the drama and controversy about the season’s set-up are leading to apathy and lower ratings among the fan base.

This has raised the possibility that The Bachelor might not be long for the airwaves. Will this trend bring the end of the franchise, or is it simply a matter of producers choosing the wrong lead?

Marquel Martin didn't need a rose ceremony to lock it down with the love of his life. The Bachelor Nation alum just popped the question to longtime love Kari Kaisner, and she gave a resounding "Yes!" The reality star proposed at the Las Vegas' Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa on Dec. 19. He shared photos of the special moment on Instagram, which included him and Kari spraying champagne and a cute cake featuring cartoons of the couple that read, "Will you accept this ring?" Marquel appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette and later on Bachelor in Paradise in 2014. Shortly after returning home from BiP, he met Kari, who was...

Forty seasons, 18 years, and one Black lead. If those statistics sound familiar to you, you're probably a fan of The Bachelor. It's also the phrase at the center of a recent campaign launched by a group of fans who are tired of the franchise's blatant lack of diversity and are demanding change. Titled The Bachelor Diversity Campaign, the organization's mission is to hold the beloved franchise accountable for Bipoc representation and antiracism.
Related: It's Been 18 Years, and the Bachelor Franchise Hasn't Done Much to Improve Its Diversity Issue
On June 8, the campaign launched a petition titled "A Campaign for Anti-Racism in the Bachelor Franchise," which features 13 calls to action, including casting a Black lead in season 25 (season 16 of The Bachelorette has already cast Clare Crawley), casting Bipoc for "at least 35 percent of contestants" while giving them equitable screen time, hiring a Bipoc diversity consultant, and properly vetting new contestants to...

“The Bachelorette” alum Marquel Martin is calling out the producers’ silence amid the growing demands for the franchise to address its diversity issues.
In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, Martin referenced an open letter he wrote in August 2014 after Chris Soules was named the star of the 19th season of “The Bachelor.” Martin and Soules competed on Andi Dorfman‘s season of “The Bachelorette,” and the former was rumored to have been in the running for “The Bachelor,” which would’ve made him the first black Bachelor. The show has yet to have a black lead, while Season 13 Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is the sole black lead across both shows.

We opened Tuesday night showing Graham in the throes of a full-blown anxiety attack; probably not the best physical reaction to have when embarking on a new relationship. Chris Soules, the Iowan farmer who vied for Andi Dorfman’s heart on the last season of The Bachelorette, will be the new Bachelor.
Chris Soules Is The Bachelor
“It's still very surreal," Soules, 32, told People about becoming the Bachelor. "It's going to be very difficult, but I just want to be very open-minded and have fun and get to know these women."
Soules emerged as a frontrunner to become the next star of The Bachelor after becoming a viewer favorite in the late stages of The Bachelorette’s tenth season. Though he seemed like the most probable choice ever since his elimination, Harrison didn’t announce Soules as the next Bachelor on the After the Final Rose special, when the next Bachelor is traditionally announced.

Just another day in Paradise. After last week's drama with Michelle K. and the crew member, episode three of ABC's Bachelor in Paradise seemed relatively tame. But tame doesn't mean boring. Elise got a date card and invited Chris, who then promptly blew out his knee. Meanwhile, Elise used the word "rainbow" so many times that even Dorothy from Wizard of Oz would consider it excessive. These days saying something is “inexplicable” is like saying something is great. The word is not only overused, it’s misused. If you want a good example of when to properly use the word “inexplicable” just watch the beginning of this week’s show. What Michelle K. did was more than a bit unusual. Marquel Martin will not be remembered as a controversial contestant or as someone who left Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette with regrets. He was simply the nice guy who didn’t really share a connection with Dorfman but shared a very intense connection with accessories—and, of course, cookies.
On night one of his stay in the Bachelorette mansion, Martin impressed Dorfman with a cookie tasting. From there, he never got a one-on-one, but he always seemed sweet enough. Now, Martin will bring his cookies to Mexico, where he’ll attempt to find love once again.

The Bachelorette took a break from the dates on Sunday for the “Men Tell All” special in which Andi Dorfman’s suitors dished about their season on the dating show.
'The Bachelorette' Recap
After Chris Harrison introduced Bachelor Nation couple Ashley Hebert and Jp Rosenbaum, who revealed they’re expecting a baby boy together, the erstwhile contestants hit the stage in scarves – which seemed to be an accidental motif of the season. Harrison then segued into a montage of some of the guys’ worst moments, including Craig ramming Patrick into a stove and the “blackie” controversy. When Harrison gave Andrew the floor to address the incident, he mistakenly thinks it was Ron – not Marquel – who’d calmly confronted him about it during the season. The mistaken identity receives appropriately incredulous reactions.
Once in the hot seat, Marquel is interrogated about why sparks never flew between Andi and him.

Andi’s first stop on her cross-country date whirlwind is Milwaukee, Wisc., where she’s introduced to Nick’s family. Before meeting the parents, Andi is treated to a trip to a local brewery where the two down samples of the conveniently named “Nick & Andi” microbrew.
Once at the family home, Andi faces all 10 of Nick’s siblings and his parents. Nick, of course, has to weather his fair share of grilling as well. His brothers and sisters want to know if Andi fully accepts who he is and if she makes him laugh – which apparently she doesn’t, but that’s okay because she does make him smile.

The Bachelorette, stationed in Brussels this week, saw Andi Dorfman narrow her suitors down to the top four, whose hometowns she’ll be visiting next week.
The Bachelorette Recap
Right off the bat, Andi selects Marcus for her first one-on-one date. Andi still has her concerns about him, since he did openly admit to her previously that he’d considering leaving the competition. Marcus claims he’s been working through his apprehensive feelings in his journal. Ultimately, he concluded that he’s in love with Andi, “So it’s full throttle from here."
Over dinner, Marcus opens up about his troubled childhood; his father ran off without warning and his mother was all about corporeal punishment. "[My grandparents] wanted the best for my mom, honestly, and they beat it into her—literally. So that's kind of how my mom did it to us," he admitted. Marcus' willingness to be vulnerable wins Andi over.

He got his heart broken after being ousted from The Bachelorette, but Cody Sattler is getting one more shot at love this summer.
The sweet and always perfectly tan personal trainer, 28, is joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise, People exclusively confirms.
On Monday's episode, Sattler was friend-zoned by Andi Dorfman after receiving the last one-on-one date from the assistant district attorney.
Though clearly emotional, he remained gracious in his exit. "Cody was truly the sweetest, most grateful guy in the house," Dorfman blogged after his elimination.

The Bachelorette returned on Monday night with Andi Dorfman and her eight remaining suitors exploring the city of Venice.
The Bachelorette Recap
Instead of the eight men huddled together over a date card, Andi decides to announce whom she’ll be taking on her first one-on-one date of the trip in person. Though everyone thought Andi would pick Cody – who has yet to go on a solo date with the bachelorette – she picks the unpopular Nick. Andi explains to Bachelor Nation, “There was something that just didn't sit right about last week. I need to see, can I move on with this guy or can I not?"
The two spend the first part of their date chowing down on pizza and gelato. Enjoying the romance, Andi fails to bring up her burning questions about whether or not he’s there for the right reasons. Once the two hop into a gondola,...

Andi Dorfman, the current star of ABC’s The Bachelorette, has quit her day job as an assistant district attorney following her second leave of absence.
Andi Dorfman Quits Assistant Da Job
Dorfman, 27, first appeared on ABC’s The Bachelor where she vied for the affections of Juan Pablo Galavis. Throughout the show, Dorfman often spoke fondly and passionately of her job as an assistant district attorney in Atlanta, working in the gang unit of the Da office. When filming for The Bachelorette began, Dorfman still seemed intent on keeping the “coveted position.”
"I was very fortunate to be in a specialized unit in my office. My specialty was gangs. It was a really coveted position,” Dorfman told People magazine before admitting she worried about her job security. "There was that worry of 'If I leave, is somebody going to take my place?' I'm a young female attorney and...

"The Bachelorette" is back, and this week Andi Dorfman and her many men headed to Marseille, France. But not everyone had a French connection, if ya know what I mean...
Here are the highlights of week 5:
-Chris Harrison and his snazzy knit turtleneck asked Andi if she was falling in love and she got smiley and was all, "Stop. Don't ask me that!"
-Josh, who always seems like a frontrunner, finally got the one-on-one and they walked around town, went out on a boat, and sat by some pretty Mediterranean rocks. At night they preceded to a palace and romance ensued. At first not so much, since Andi couldn't quite get past their physical connection (she wanted an emotional one, too!), but then he finally opened up and all was well.
-The group date involved miming school and then a public performance in town -- basically another...

The Bachelorette returned after a weeklong hiatus with Andi Dorfman and her suitors on a whirlwind trip to Marseille.
The Bachelorette Recap
Before going on her one-on-one with Josh, Andi sits down with host Chris Harrison, who is eager to know if Andi has fallen in love with any of the men yet. Playing coy, Andi tells Harrison not to ask her about that. One person she’s not quite sure about yet is Josh, with whom she has a lot of chemistry, but with whom she’s not sure she has much more than that.
Andi Wants Josh To Get Deep On 1-On-1

"The Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman clearly knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. After a week of romance and high drama in Marseille, France, she decided to skip the cocktail party altogether and get straight to the rose ceremony, where she decided to drop the axe on three men. -Break- 'The Bachelorette' recap: Eric Hill's farewell is both bitter and sweet It wasn't especially surprising that Andrew, Marquel, and Patrick were the ones sent home. They were among the top four contestants our users had predicted to be eliminated. And going into the rose ceremony, they were among the four men who still had not been invited on a solo date with Andi. Of those four dateless men, only muscle-bound personal trainer Cody got a reprieve for another week. The triple elimination rendered much of this week's interpersonal drama moot. Two weeks after accusing Andrew...

This week's second episode of "The Bachelorette" didn't feature a typical rose ceremony out of respect for deceased contestant, Eric Hill.
Eric died tragically in a paragliding accident shortly after filming his portion of the season. This was his last episode, so host Chris Harrison announced the results and paid tribute to Eric (alongside Andi) in the last few minutes of the show.
Eric's last moments on screen were tense ones. He approached Andi, hoping she would be more open and real with him, and told her, "I came on this to meet a person, not a TV actress." This sparked tears and a heated conversation, which caused him to leave not long after their exchange.
"My last conversation with him, it's not ideally the last conversation I would want to have with somebody," Andi explained to Chris Harrison at the end of the episode during their tribute.

On The Bachelorette this week, Andi Dorfman and her host of suitors traveled to scenic Connecticut, where she further weeded down the group before they head overseas.
Bachelorette Recap
Andi selects Dylan for her first one-on-one date of the week, and takes him for a ride on the Essex Stream Train. Without much delay, the two dive in to early relationship chatter, discussing, among other things, how long their longest relationships were and why the ended. It’s revealed they both called it quits because they felt as though they were settling. Dylan had the revelation after his brother’s death, but he can’t bring himself to open up about his brother’s passing and other things about his family, including the death of his sister.
Once the pair makes it over to the dinner train car, Andi levels with Dylan, telling him that she needs to know the...

Tonight on The Bachelorette, we discovered that no one should ever force reality TV contestants to pretend they are in a boy band and that Andi Dorfman is very nearly flawless. Plus, we saw what she and one of the guys would look like if they were old, because why not? Andi and Nick really seemed to hit it off as they shared a day of hiking and bike-riding and then a romantic evening in the Santa Barbara courthouse. Andi grilled Nick about past relationship and why he isn't married but all of his friends are. They got pretty close and ended the date with a bit of a smooch sesh and a rose. Brian, Marquel, Cody, Tasos, Brett, Ron, Bradley, Josh, Eric, Andrew, Patrick, and Marcus all got to go on a...

I have to wonder if it's written into some unlucky guy's contract each season that he will be outed as the slimy villain of the show, because it certainly seems that way. This week, in the first part of a two-night "The Bachelorette" special, we learn that one guy got the number of a restaurant hostess while the guys were eating out sans Andi -- and he may or may not have bragged about it. Needless to say, all the guys who are "there for the right reasons" (drink!) are incensed. It's remarkable we don't see more beat downs on this show, but who knows what ends up on the editing room floor, right? But let's begin at the beginning, which is all happiness and light. The first date card goes to Nick V. He seems a little cavalier about this whole dating the Bachelorette thing, which is odd. Back at the house,...

This week was a busy one for our fair maiden of Atlanta, Ada Andi Dorfman. Yup, it was time to get to datin.'
Here are the highlights from week 2's rose filled extravaganza:
-Andi and Eric headed on a one-on-on to the beach and played around in the sand. But wait, there's more! They hopped in a helicopter (this is "The Bachelorette," after all) and flew off to a snowy mountaintop to get private snowboarding lessons.
-Andi's second one-on-one was with farmer Chris. They went off to the races and bet on some horses while decked out in "40s glam," as Andi called it. Then they were treated to a private concert -- a classic "Bachelor / "Bachelorette" move.
-There was a group date where the rest of the suitors were forced to perform as exotic dancers for Andi's viewing (and judging) pleasure. But it was for charity,...

As we all know, "The Bachelorette" contestant Eric Hill passed away earlier this year, and it definitely casts a pall over the show that no amount of creative editing can take away. I had hoped that perhaps Andi wouldn't find him attractive on that first night so that we (and she) wouldn't get too attached. Too often the only way to get off this show with your dignity somewhat intact is to either win the whole thing or go home that first night. Along the way there's just too much opportunity to get into a fight with an idiot bunkmate, say the wrong thing to the Bachelorette, or get blotto drunk (they really push the booze on these shows). But not only did he make the cut, he clearly made an impression. Eric nabs the first one-on-one of the season, and during the date Andi just can't stop gushing over...

When The Bachelorette premiered last week, there was a little something missing. Thanks to a 90-minute time frame, the show had to cut its usual “Meet the Guys” videos, which meant viewers had to pick their favorite suitors based on nothing more than a limo arrival and a cocktail party.
But now, the guys’ introductions are available online, so before you head into tonight’s episode, you can properly educate yourself on a few of the men, their jobs, their passions, and how very excited they are that Andi is the Bachelorette. And perhaps most importantly, you can find out...
