Popular Kannada director Raj B Shetty and lyricist Jayant Kaikini will be among those in attendance at the film festival. The film festival has curated over 100 films and viewers can attend screenings free of charge. Three screens at Bharath Cinemas will be dedicated to festival films on all four days. While the first edition of Critics’ Choice Film Awards witnessed Best Film category for varied languages, for the second season the makers have upped the ante by introducing Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Film as well as Best Writing across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati and Kannada.
