R.J. Isaac was born Reuben Isaac in May of 1990 in Anaheim, CA. His
father was a computer specialist and his mother was a home maker. Isaac
moved 7 times before graduating high school. During this time, his
mother home schooled him and his 3 siblings from kindergarten to 12th
grade and his father changed occupations to a Baptist minister and then
a school teacher.
After graduating high school Isaac attended Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD where he studied accounting for one year before transferring to Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU). At DWU he double majored in Business and MultiMedia for two years. After 2 years he transferred to the University of Sioux Falls (USF) in SIoux Falls, SD. At USF he studied media for 3 semesters before graduating in December of 2012.
Shortly before graduating Isaac got a job at a Magic Makers where he became the in house film maker. At Magic Makers, Isaac was able to gain rapid experience planning, directing, shooting, and editing short format videos.
