- Laurie Pallotta was born in Atlanta, GA. She is the only child of Rick Pallotta, a real estate developer, & Gail Pallotta, a Christian author. Laurie attended high school at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta & then studied at Centre College in Danville, KY, where she graduated with honors. She earned a Masters Degree in French with a minor in Spanish from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL before signing with an agent. Laurie's entertainment career began in 2008 when she started modeling in music videos. By 2011 she had entered the television media in commercial spots for Car Insurance Connection & Whitehardt.
Laurie's love of acting has been her greatest creative motivation. Her debut came in 2014 via a small role in the short film, Love Equals (2014). She landed her first co-lead the following year when she was cast as Kimberly Hilliard in the TV movie Ms. INCORPORATED (2015). This led to Laurie's theatrical bilingual role as Sra. Ginsburg in The Violent Heart (2020), where she worked across from Jahi Di'Allo Winston. After that she was cast as Ava in Just My Type (2022), where she performed alongside Jaiden Kaine.
