Tusken Raiders have been a fixture of the "Star Wars" universe from the very beginning, as the desert dwellers appear in the opening act of the original 1977 film. Given that we've spent a lot more time on Tatooine as of late -- thanks to shows like "The Mandalorian" and "The Book of Boba Fett" -- that also means we've spent more time getting to know the Tuskens. But what does it take to voice one of these fixtures of Luke Skywalker's home planet? Mostly, it's about not blowing your voice out.
/Film's own Vanessa Armstrong recently spoke with voice actor Kaitlyn Robrock, aka the voice of Minnie Mouse, who just so happened to do a lot of the voice work for the Tusken Raiders in "The Book of Boba Fett." In discussing the prep work for taking on that job, Robrock gave us a peek behind the curtain, saying...

The first trailer for Disney Plus’ upcoming “Star Wars” limited series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” was nearly stolen by a young Luke Skywalker, who briefly appears in the footage being watched by Ewan McGregor’s eponymous Jedi. The series, set 10 years after the events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,” follows Obi-Wan as he’s thrown into a new adventure while keeping watch over Luke on Tatooine. Luke is a child in the series played by actor Grant Feely, whose only other credit is an episode of “Creepshow.”
“Grant Feely looks like a perfect Luke Skywalker,” Hamill posted on social media, giving the child actor his blessing. “I am wishing him all the very best!” The actor added via hashtag, “The Force Is With Feely.”
Hamill originated the role of Luke Skywalker in George Lucas’ 1977 “Star Wars,” reprising the character in two direct sequels and the most recent “Star Wars” film trilogy.

When it comes to Star Wars in 2022, there’s no bigger event than the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi Master stars in his own Disney+ series that picks up 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi Order has fallen, and the few knights who remain are being ruthlessly hunted down by the Empire and their dark-side-worshipping Inquisitors. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is still in exile on Tatooine, watching over young Luke Skywalker from afar…until the time is right.
“We find Obi-Wan at the beginning of our story rather broken, and faithless, and beaten, somewhat given up,” McGregor told EW. How broken? Well, according to new photos revealed by the outlet, the Jedi Master now lives in a cave… He’s so beaten down that he hasn’t even bothered to find himself an actual place to live. It’s been a decade, Ben!

The upcoming Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action series will reunite two giants of the galaxy far, far away for the first time since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith. Ewan McGregor reprises his role as the legendary Jedi Master, now living in exile on Tatooine and watching over a young Luke Skywalker from a distance, with Hayden Christensen set to also return as Darth Vader.
But these aren’t the only Star Wars characters returning for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse are also reprising their Prequel Trilogy roles as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru respectively. And may there be yet more characters we don’t yet know about? It seems very likely, considering just how cameo-heavy these live-action Disney+ shows tend to be.
Rumors abound regarding which other characters may cameo on the show. Everyone from little Luke and the Grand Inquisitor to Bail Organa and a young Princess...

"Where should the franchise go now?" is a question that continues to hang over the entirety of "Star Wars" now that the sequel trilogy and the Skywalker Saga have officially come to an end. While the movies continue to experience some turbulence, the television side of Lucasfilm keeps chugging along without much in the way of controversy or divisiveness. Both seasons of "The Mandalorian" received rave reviews among audiences and critics, while the first season of "The Book of Boba Fett" will soon be coming to a close in...

Most of us will never get the chance to be a part of and influence "Star Wars" and, instead, will be enjoying it from afar with the rest of the fans around the world.
