Dave Blomberg is a guitarist and composer from the UK. Dave played guitar in UK band New Model Army for over 12 years and has worked as a session guitarist playing with many other artists.
Dave's musical career as a guitar player and songwriter started aged 19, with Reading based band Asylum in 1991. Asylum released two albums on German Independent label Houses in Motion, touring in Europe and recording in the USA.
In February 1993, Dave joined Bradford based group New Model Army as guitar player. During more than 12 years with the band, he played all over the world including many tours in Europe, USA and Canada, BBC Radio 1 and Radio 5 sessions, TV appearances and numerous festivals including the Glastonbury Festival in 2002. He recorded albums with the band that were released on EMI records and leading independent labels worldwide.
Dave has also recorded and toured with his own band Nozzle with which he released three albums. In October 2005 Nozzle were signed to Warner Music label Cordless Recordings and released the Mystery E.P in October 2005 and the Let Me Down E.P in June 2006.
Dave has since been writing music for TV and films with his company Flowermountain Music. His tracks have been used in the USA and Europe on TV channels such as BBC4, NBC, CBS, FOX Sports, MTV, Netflix, Sky News, The History Channel, Amazon Prime, Channel 5 and many others
