In her professional journey, she has collaborated with esteemed national production companies as a scriptwriter, author, and director, overseeing the creative process for various distinguished projects in the field of national animation. Several films and series of their authorship, direction, and production have been showcased on television channels and festivals worldwide.
Since 2013, she has also ventured into documentary production, contributing to projects such as the documentary "Until Porn Do Us Part" by Director Jorge Pelicano. This documentary premiered globally at the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival - BAFICI and had its European debut at the International Documentary Film Festival of Jihlava. Notably, the film received the Best Documentary and Audience Award at the Caminhos do Cinema Português and won the Sophia Awards 2020 in the Best Documentary category.
Most recently, she co-produced Cesária Évora, the highest-grossing documentary in theaters in 2022 in Portugal. Cesária Évora made history in Portuguese cinema by being the first film selected for the prestigious SXSW Film Festival and the first Portuguese film nominated for the IDA - International Documentary Awards. Furthermore, it won the Sophia Award for Best Documentary in 2023 from the Portuguese Academy of Cinema.
