Javee Rodriguez is a Director of Photography who began studying music and art at an early age. He attended Temple University where he majored in Film and Media Arts but left his studies early and start his career as an independent filmmaker.
Studying under French cinematographer Maryse Alberti, Javee has shot projects in different states as well as one recent project in the Middle East. In Spring of 2016, he spent about two weeks in Baku, Azerbaijan shooting "Clouds On Leashes", a proof of concept for a feature film created by director Gunel Eva. Javee has also worked on bigger feature films such as Ryan Cooler's "CREED", M.Night's "Split", and Harrison Smith's latest film "Death House".
Javee has a strong interest in shooting documentaries, music videos, and commercials, however his passion lies in narrative filmmaking. Regardless of the type of project, his goal as a Director of Photography is to create images that will not only tell the story but affect the viewer on a personal level.
