Richard Stringham
- Producer
- Director
- Writer
Richard Stringham was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised on a bad diet of R-rated films during the heyday of the video store craze. In 2016, he gave up his career as a mechanical contractor to write, produce and direct his first feature, "Close Calls," which garnered awards at the New York City Horror Film Festival and developed a cult following after a mention on Blumhouse's Shock Waves Podcast.
While producing a documentary on the making of "Close Calls," Stringham helped produce a number of indie films in the horror/thriller genre, including shorts, documentaries, and features. Following his passion for screenwriting, Richard went on to write several spec scripts, earning accolades in top-tier writing competitions such as the Creative World Awards, Austin Film Fest, StoryPros, and the PAGE Awards.
