James Noir was born James Samuel Bradley on December 16, 1994 and was raised in Oldbury; a small town just outside of the City of Birmingham in the West Midlands. His mother, Sharon, was a box maker and his late father, Peter Bradley, was a mechanic. He is of French, Italian and Irish ancestry, also with ancestry connections towards German Royalty.
James grew up around the music of Glenn Miller and movies starring the late and great Hollywood actor, James Dean, who he considers as his role model.
As a teenager, James learned to play a number of musical instruments - the guitar, bass guitar and piano and at the age of 17, he formed his first band, 'The Grey Quotes', taking on the role of lead singer and lyricist - recording three singles and also recording a music video. Their single "Polly on the Fountain", was originally written as a poem by James and was based on an old monument which was once situated in James' hometown. The song was praised by Oldbury's local History Society and was later inducted into the town's archives for future generations to see.
James' admiration and love for acting has been with him since a very young age after taking part in plays during his time at school. Off-screen, he has performed on the stage in productions such as Peter Shaffer's Equus, which he played the part of Alan Strang and also performing in many tourist attractions, such as scare mazes and haunted houses.
