Drita received her degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied acting. Drita is trained in clowning, stage combat, Shakespeare work, musical theatre, film and television.

Training as a classical singer from an early age, Drita Kabashi grew up on the stage. She was fortunate to have always known her passion for performing.

Drita grew up between Prishtina, Kosovo and Chicago.
Drita co-devised the play "Aplomb", which was granted a summer residency with the New York Theatre Workshop in 2017. Her work on the piece opened the door to a new form of expression (investigative theatre) and has had a hand in devising a number of projects in her post-grad career.
Drita is a part of an ongoing workshop residency at the La Jolla Playhouse for "Weatherman", an original musical directed by Christopher Ashley, book by Doug Wright, and composition by David Clement.
