Chelsea Women have announced the launch of a new official club podcast dedicated solely to the Barclays Women’s Super League (Wsl) team.
We Are Chelsea will bring fans closer than ever before to Chelsea’s star players, and provide unrivalled behind the scenes access and insight into the dressing room of the current league champions.
As well as deep dives on memorable moments and hot takes on key match moments, the podcast will reveal the team’s journey from humble beginnings to the elite level of the women’s game.

London, June 1 (Ians) Sarina Wiegman, head coach of England’s women’s football team, announced the squad for the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
The Lionesses, who clinched the Euro title last year, will be led by Chelsea defender Millie Bright, it was announced on Wednesday. She steps into the captain role due to an injury sidelining Leah Williamson.
Lucy Bronze and Alex Greenwood, among the 23 players named, are set to participate in their third consecutive World Cup. The pair were part of the squad that secured a bronze medal in 2015, reports Xinhua.

England’s defeat by the USA in the Women’s World Cup was a devastating result for the Lionesses but it was a ratings hit. The game, which aired on BBC One in the UK, peaked with an audience of 11.7M, making it the most watched show of the year.
More than half – 50.8% – of television audiences tuned in to see England lose in dramatic fashion to the USA.
It was the highest rating in the UK for a Women’s World Cup game, with the previous record being set in the quarter-final win over Norway, which was watched by 7.6M. Ratings have increased over the tournament, with England’s 2-1win over Scotland watched by 6.1M and its 3-0 win over Cameroon watched by 6.9M.
