“Barbie is a great time at the movies, perfect for the Summer. And to paraphrase the old ad line from Mattel, Barbie…it’s swell!!” – Jim Batts review
Today, WaterTower Music released Barbie (Score from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), composed by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. The score is featured in the juggernaut film Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures – listen Here.
The film, currently in theaters everywhere, has already shattered numerous records and is on its way to earning $1 billion at the global box office.
On composing the score, Ronson says, “Greta’s Barbie overflows with emotion in a way that inspired us to no end, not just with harmony and melody but also textures, sonics and rhythms. Sometimes Greta wanted us to elicit tears, sometimes she wanted it to feel like a disco.

WWE 2K23 features quite a few improvements to the franchise formula that will certainly be welcomed by wrestling game fans everywhere. Of course, some things never change, which means that WWE 2K23 still makes you unlock quite a few wrestlers via gameplay accomplishments and by spending both real and virtual currency.
The very good news is that WWE 2K23 makes the various unlock processes fairly painless. The problem is that the game doesn’t always do a great job of telling you exactly how to unlock those wrestlers or the best way to go about acquiring all of them. Hopefully, we can help ease that part of the unlock system just a bit.
How to Unlock Every WWE 2K23 Wrestler With Virtual Currency
The vast majority of wrestlers in WWE 2K23 are unlocked via the game’s Virtual Currency (Vc) system. Every wrestler available via the in-game store costs 1,000 Vc to unlock.

In 100Rbh’s home, a music career was not on the table. Growing up in a traditional Indian household, the aspiring rapper was instructed by his father to find a “respectable” job that would earn him a daily wage. But the 24-year-old, born Saurabh Abhyankar, had other ideas.
For most musicians, dreams of global success seem far-fetched. But in 100Rbh’s rural hometown of Amravati, in the western state of Maharashtra, few people were even aware of what hip-hop was. “People didn’t know s*** about this industry,” he tells me in his local Bambaiya accent (Mumbai’s Hindi), over the phone. He had to hustle just to persuade locals to come to his shows. Yet in time, “ever since the money started flowing in, other [parents] have been telling my mum that they want their sons to find a career in the music industry too”.

While Muniz wouldn’t identify the victim, the 30-year-old Philadelphia rapper – real name Rakim Allen – was placed at the eatery with his girlfriend, who posted a since-deleted Instagram photo with the location tag.
Addressing reporters, Muniz said the suspect brandished a gun at the victim and demanded items from him.
“The suspect then fired multiple rounds and then appeared to remove some property, to what extent we don’t know at this time,” Muniz added.

The musician and ex-husband of Pamela Anderson had shared a full-frontal naked selfie to Instagram last month, which was subsequently deleted under Instagram’s content guidelines.
During a Mötley Crüe concert in San Antonio, Texas, later in August, the 59-year-old explained that he had shared the explicit photo after going on a “bender”.
Now, Lee has used Instagram to promote his new page on OnlyFans, a popular content sharing site which is renowned for users selling access to pornographic images and videos.
In a video on his Instagram Stories, Lee wrote: “Yo I’m Tommy Lee. Join me over at OnlyFans because I went the S@# over there because I’m tired of Instagram policing our bodies.
“So head on over to the wild side on OnlyFans.”
According to the website, a subscription to Lee’s page costs 39.95 a month.

Robbie Williams has opened up about the forthcoming biopic Better Man.
The former Take That singer will star as himself in the film, which is due to be released next year.
Directed by The Greatest Showman’s Michael Gracey, Better Man will also feature fictionalised depictions of his Take That bandmates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange.
According to Williams, a Take That reunion is very much on the cards, but it may depend on how his former bandmates react to the biopic.
Speaking to The Times, he said: “How [the band] receive it will have a lot to do with what happens next. If this film was my life from 2010 to 2022, it would be a love letter to Gary Barlow. But I speak in the film how I thought when I was 16, 17, 18.
“We have a very complicated relationship, me and the boys. A loving and jovial relationship, but...

One of the greatest remaining bastions of Hollywood’s golden age, Musso & Frank has been beloved of everyone from Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe to Tom Waits and Rickie Lee Jones. The latest star to call herself a regular at the storied restaurant is North America’s premiere whistler, Molly Lewis. It’s a fitting match, as Lewis’s unique, wryly camp confection of tiki-bar blues is quite unlike anything else that’s been released since the heady days of the 1950s exotica boom. Lewis’s high-pitched birdsong is endlessly fascinating, sounding not unlike ear-piercing coloratura soprano Yma Sumac, who was the whistle-toned Ariana Grande of her day. Want a musician who seems like they might soundtrack Quentin Tarantino’s next movie? Molly Lewis is your woman.
I meet Lewis on a sticky summer’s evening at the infamous Los Angeles hideaway, ahead of the release of her second EP,...

Please don't send any Harveys my way.
On SurrealEstate Season 1 Episode 2, we learned that imaginary friends could often have devious natures.
So much for nurturing your child's imagination. In the case of a Harvey, you might be leading your entire family to the grave.
SurrealEstate maintained its whimsy and humor the second episode out.
It also continues to resemble beloved shows that have come before, but I'd like to see a little more involvement from the secondary characters.
I'd mentioned Warehouse 13 and Haven, which were known to focus on the leads quite heavily. But Haven, especially, had a great supporting lineup of characters whose skills were imperative to helping the leads determine which direction to go to solve cases.
A reader brought up Eureka, and if things continue along this path, we won't see that same kind of unity on SurrealEstate.
Maybe I just don't understand what each agent...
