Pavel is a freelance film producer who has racked up many years of professional experience. He has seen the film set from a wide range of perspectives, working in various positions, such as location manager, production manager, unit & transport manager to name a few. But most notably Pavel is well-renowned as producer of multiple short films. His work has been screened in national and competitive film programmes throughout Lithuania, some films in festivals abroad, including in Latvia, The Netherlands, Poland and The United Kingdom. Pavel's work has been nominated for multiple grand prizes both locally and globally. One film, Sugrizimas (2015) won the Best Producer Award by a huge margin, based both on jury and audience votes.
Most recently, Pavel's film Saknys karcios (2016) (The Roots Are Bitter) has been nominated for Best Student Film in the prestigious Lithuanian Film Academy's Lithuanian Film Awards' "Silver Crane". His other film The Mother's Day (2017), where he worked as production manager, won the award for Best Short Film.
Passionate about filmmaking, Pavel seeks out challenges in order to grow. He is someone who commits to solving tough problems and then follows through. In addition to filmmaking, his skills include business management, resource management, human resource management, budget management, public speaking, motivational speaking, and scheduling. He prefers to stay active in life, and naturally social, he makes new friends regularly. Pavel earned his BA in Film Production and is looking to extend his master studies in other fields of filmmaking.
