- Keir Vine is a Composer / Sound Designer / Performer who works among a variety of platforms with a focus on spatial sound and a mix of electronic, acoustic and improvised sound. He performs worldwide with Mercury Music Prize nominated group Portico Quartet, scores for Film & TV, creates spatialised multi-channel installation and sound design for Theatre.
Recent scores include Series 3 of the BBC comedy 'Famalam', feature-length documentary 'More Earth Will Fall' , award winning Short Films and the forthcoming 'Last Day' in development with BFI.
In 2004 he founded a recording and post-production studio in London, Studio 9 where he is based as a Producer and Composer. Keir recently released his first Solo LP, 'Instance' on Trestle Records.
Keir's recent installation work include sound design and spatial design for 'Rain, Steam, Speed' at National Gallery X, 'Ouroboros' at Click festival in Denmark, the 5G networked performance 'Epiphany' in the Guildhall, Living Symphonies with the Forestry Commission nationwide and 'Now Is The Time To Say Nothing' at the V&A Museum.
