Michael A. Blank is an American actor born and raised in the Midwest. He attended Butler University on an Army ROTC scholarship and has a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration. Mike competed in Intercollegiate Cross Country. After fulfilling his three-year active Army obligation, he began a 24-year career with Bristol-Myers Squibb. Mike worked in pharmaceutical sales and sales management throughout the United States: retiring in 2012. While employed in the corporate sector Michael continued to serve in the Army Reserves. In 2006 with 25 years of total service, He retired from the Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mike is an Iraq Campaign Veteran. During 2016 after encouragement from his wife Sheley, he took a great leap of faith and stepped far outside of his comfort zone. In his early fifties, Michael started to pursue something completely different: acting. He had many credited roles in independent films. Michael's true niche was in non-union commercial work. Mike appeared in numerous commercials, infomercials, and print ads (listed under "Other Works" on this IMDB page) Several of Michael's infomercials were dubbed into other languages, and shown in Europe, Central, and South America. His work was dubbed into German, Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch, Hungarian, and Spanish. Seven years later because of the support from Sheley, Katie Roland, and Peggy Sheffield he realized all his goals had not only been met but greatly surpassed. - Michael is a 3rd generation veteran. His grandfather (John Blank) fought in the trenches of France during WW1, and was gassed. His father (Howard M. Blank) was a veteran of WWII, and Korea. Mike is a veteran of the Iraq Campaign.

- Was a Featured Extra in three films that were voted in the top 10 worse films of the year released. "True Memoirs of an International Assassin", "Random Tropical Paradise", and "The Last Thing He Wanted". Additionally, after spending multiple days on each set, his scene was deleted from the final version of each film. Although Michael did appear in the Trailer for "Random Tropical Paradise".
