- Michael works with Pediatric Residents at Johns' Hopkins All Children's Hospital as a Simulated Participant. He portrays a family member of a child diagnosed with cancer or another serious illness. The sessions are intended to train and improve the young physician's interactions with caregivers in a stressful situation.

- Mike, and other Tampa area actors have partnered with John's Hopkins Hospital to train local law enforcement officers on how to properly interact with a mental health patient in crisis. The actors portray different types of patients with a variety of mental illnesses. The goal of this training is to safely deescalate a potentially dangerous situation: and achieve a positive outcome for all parties.
- Mike grew up watching classic movies with his parents. They were all fans of films such as "Double Indemnity", "The Third Man", and "The Maltese Falcon". Michael still today lists Film Noir as his film genre of choice.
- Smartly for him, Michael did not join SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) when offered. This allowed Mike to work for less than Union wages. Because of this he was the primary, or supporting in approximately 50 national, regional, and local commercials, infomercials, and print ads. His works were dubbed into German, Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch, Hungarian, and Spanish. . He has also appeared on Home Shopping Network (HSN).
- Ironically Michael was featured in sales training videos for the management team of Merck: one of his biggest competitors, while he was working for Bristol-Myers Squibb.
- Due to Mike's appearance in the BayCare Hospitals "Humanity at Work" commercial, he qualified to join the prestigious Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Union.
- Michael has been proud to volunteer with Team Rubicon in hurricane disaster relief missions, and Afghan refugee resettlement. He also assists victims of home fires as a member of the Red Cross.
