Sitting on a couch post-workout session in his office on the Sunset Strip, L.A. real estate broker Jason Oppenheim tells The Hollywood Reporter exclusively that his popular Netflix reality show Selling Sunset has been renewed for an eighth season and that production will begin soon on the latest installments of the series.
“For me, each season gets more and more fun,” says Oppenheim, who had originally hoped that the show — a bingeable mix of real estate, oft-combative personal dynamics, over-the-top fashion and L.A. nightlife — would run for at least three seasons. “When we were doing season one, we were like, ‘If we can get to season three, we had a real show. Anything above that would be icing.’ We’ve been running on icing for years now.”

"Selling Sunset" has officially returned to Netflix for its seventh season. The beloved reality TV show centered on the LA-based real estate brokerage firm The Oppenheim Group hit the streamer on Nov. 3 with some familiar faces and fan favorites. Bre Tiesi, who made her first appearance in season six, is back again for the latest season, and her love life is still a topic of conversation.
In the season seven premiere, Tiesi claims during a dinner with her "Selling Sunset" costars that she hooked up with "Black Panther" actor Michael B. Jordan. Upon being asked, "Who would you sleep with, celebrity-wise? Who would you pick?," by Chrishell Stause, Amanza Smith replies, "Michael B. Jordan." Tiesi then responds by saying, "I could do that, and I've done that." Though Jordan has not confirmed or denied Tiesi's claims, the revelation has led many to wonder if the real estate agent actually did hook up with the actor.

"Selling Sunset" costars Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young are still feuding in season seven. It seems the drama between the two started during season six filming, as they clashed early on due to Young's claim that Stause received credit for property sales she made years prior to joining the show (she joined in season six). Young also alleged Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim gave Stause the credit because he had a crush on her at the time (Oppenheim has dated both women).
Stause alluded to the conflict on her Instagram Stories in September 2022, long before the season dropped on Netflix on May 19. She wrote, "The thirst for camera time on season 6 is Real. Wow. That was insanity. But also So transparent. Get your 15 mins girl but leave my business out of it."
In a second Story, the realtor added, "Screenshots have been archived for this very moment. Of Course...

"Selling Sunset" season seven is almost here and, of course, the drama is never-ending. Netflix dropped the season's trailer on Oct. 12, teasing more shade from the Oppenheim Group agents and an intense sit-down between Jason's ex, Chrishell Stause, and his then-girlfriend, Marie-Lou Nürk, though they've since broken up. That, plus a playful rivalry between the "Selling Sunset" cast and their other Oppenheim branches, like "Selling the Oc," are what viewers can look forward to this season. But that's not all.
On Nov. 2, Netflix revealed that "Selling Sunset" will cap off its seventh season with a bonus reunion special on Nov. 15, hosted by "Queer Eye"'s Tan France. The last time the show aired a reunion was in 2022 for season five, which was an explosive episode that addressed the aftermath of Stause and Jason's breakup and revealed the former's romance with her partner, G-Flip. The trailer for season 7 of Selling Sunset is here, and it doesn’t disappoint in terms of the drama headed our way!
The trailer is shockingly light on the Nicole Young and Chrishell Stause drama, but does feature a conversation between Chrishell and Jason Oppenheim‘s then-girlfriend (now ex) Marie-Lou Nurk. If you don’t know, Marie-Lou indicated she might not have really liked Chrishell all-too-much at one point. Chrishell and Jason used to date, but she’s now happily married to G Flip.

Others featured in the trailer are Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Mary Fitzgerald, as well as Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
Fans were unclear if Heather Rae El Moussa would be featured this season, but a new still (in the gallery below) confirms she’s at least featured, despite being left off of the season’s new poster.

“Selling Sunset” star, Amanza Smith, is opening up about a recent health scare. What Smith thought was just lower back pain, ended up being something much more alarming.
In a new interview with People, the interior designer, 46, shared her story after undergoing two invasive spinal surgeries this summer, explaining how osteomyelitis — a potentially rare and life-threatening bone infection — was affecting her lower vertebrae.
In May, Smith experienced a severe backache that lasted almost a full month, causing her to collapse one evening at her Los Angeles home. Five days later, she agreed to let a close friend take her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. After doing an Mri, doctors discovered that Smith had a dangerously advanced case of vertebral osteomyelitis — a vertebral infection that is fatal for two out of 10 patients.

Amanza Smith, one of the stars of the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, has revealed how she was “two days from dying” following a severe spine infection that left her hospitalized. The interior designer turned realtor opened up to People about her battle with osteomyelitis, a painful bone infection that can cause serious problems if not treated. She explained how she collapsed at her Los Angeles home in May after a month of agonizing backache and how a friend finally persuaded her to go to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. “One or two more days at home and you could have been dead,” Smith said her doctor told her. Smith underwent an Mri, which revealed she had vertebral osteomyelitis, the most common form of vertebral infection, though a relatively rare disease that can be fatal for two out of 10 patients. For Smith, her infection was dangerously advanced. “I thought I had a backache,...

Since first airing in 2019, Netflix’s real estate reality series Selling Sunset has increasingly been a showcase for fashion as much as it is about peeping into lavish L.A. homes. In recent seasons, the over-the-top looks seen on the show, which can verge on the impractical, have become memes on social media. Exhibit A: that Diesel skirt, which looks like a belt, worn by castmember Chelsea Lazkani, who was unable to sit while wearing it.
“I feel like we’re in a caliber all on our own,” says castmember Emma Hernan when asked what other reality series has wardrobes that rival the looks seen on Selling Sunset‘s agents, who all work at The Oppenheim Group. “There’s something about the fashion and the homes combined. Every new season of "Selling Sunset" brings more drama than the last. This time around, some of the biggest feuds revolve around the show's new cast members Nicole Young and Bre Tiesi. While Tiesi and Chelsea Lazkani argued over the model's relationship with Nick Cannon, Young accused longtime cast member Chrishell Stause of taking credit for her past listings as a realtor. As if that wasn't all, just days after the sixth season of "Selling Sunset" premiered on Netflix on May 19, Amanza Smith revealed she and Stause weren't seeing eye to eye lately, either, which caused her to block Stause on Instagram. Considering the pair have been friends for years, the news left fans wondering what could have possibly gone wrong.

Selling Sunset newcomer Bre Tiesi‘s relationship with Nick Cannon is a major plot point in the newest season of the show. It is central to the friction between Tiesi and her fellow castmate Chelsea Lazkani, who labels Cannon as a “master manipulator.” But Tiesi has now said that the Netflix reality series’ depiction of their relationship difficulties is not accurate.
Tiesi, who shares her son Legendary Love with Cannon, told People that she is “not excited about or thrilled” that the false portrayal is occurring. She further elaborated that it’s all part of the job she signed up for, mentioning that people need to “take it with a grain of salt” and know that there’s a difference between her real life and the show.

Tiesi joins fellow newcomer Nicole Young on the reality series, and returning cast members include Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, Davina Potratz, and Chelsea Lazkani. The season's first teaser dropped on April 20, and it shows glimpses of the new and old cast members, including Tiesi. "I mean business. I'm about my business. I'm here to f*ck this shit up,...

Rihanna learned the hard way that keeping up with an exercise routine isn't easy when there's an adorable little boy demanding her attention. On Saturday, the pop star, who's expecting her second baby later this year, shared a video on Instagram featuring her son thwarting her workout plans.
In the video, the baby (whose name she and partner A$AP Rocky have not yet shared) smiles at a video playing off-camera while he sits happily in his mom's lap. The little guy even shows off a few new teeth, while his mom cuddles him. However, at the end of the video, Rihanna, whose growing baby bump is on display in her workout ensemble, pleads with her son to let her get some exercise in. Mary Fitzgerald choked back tears while emotionally revealing she suffered a miscarriage.
The “Selling Sunset” star took to Instagram on Friday and posted a video in which she struggled to reveal the news she said she sat on for weeks, that her and her husband, Romain Bonnet, went to Bali and got pregnant. Unfortunately, Fitzgerald says, the pregnancy didn’t work out. She said she felt compelled to share her message after promising fans she’d take them with her through her fertility journey.
“On top of the miscarriage, also had a septic miscarriage,” said Fitzgerald, referring to the development of an infection in her uterus that requires surgery. “So, had to go in for surgery for that. I guess the only reason why I’ve been silent for a long time — and the reason why I’m speaking out now — is because I do realize how common this is...

When Adam Divello first pitched Selling Sunset to Netflix, the plan wasn’t to turn an unscripted show about The Oppenheim Group—a high-end real estate firm in West Hollywood—into something akin to the Real Housewives franchise.
“I don’t think we ever knew exactly what it was going to be,” admits Divello about the show’s 2019 launch. “I know when I approached the Oppenheim brothers about being on the show, they were very hesitant. They didn’t want to be like a Bravo-type, so to speak, with no offense to Bravo. They just didn’t want to be on a show where there was constant fighting. I promised and said, ‘No, I’m going to make it about real estate and these high-end homes you guys sell in Los Angeles.’ Our first one was a 40 million house, which is crazy. But of course, I told them we are...

On its face, "Selling Sunset" is a show about high-end real estate, but behind the perfectly polished windows and carefully selected decor, the true stars of the show are the ladies of The Oppenheim Group. The "Selling Sunset" cast has famously had their ups and downs throughout the show's five seasons, most recently resulting in allegations against Christine Quinn that put her at risk of termination.
When the show first premiered in 2019, the crew - not counting the members of the team off screen - consisted of Brett and Jason Oppenheim, the agency's cofounders; Quinn; Mary Fitzgerald; Maya Vander; Heather El Moussa; Davina Potratz; and newcomer Chrishell Stause, who spent most of the season proving herself to the existing cast members. Between snide comments from Quinn and Potratz, tension quickly mounted among the cast members.

Bad bitches do cry, even if the fourth episode of Selling Sunset season five claims otherwise. Christine Quinn found herself in tears after her co-workers at the Oppenheim Group called out her recent shady behavior, which included making a dig about Heather Rae Young's wedding in the press. And while Christine has done her fair share of pot-stirring in the past, we found ourselves feeling badly for the quick-witted real estate agent. Who wants to get an intervention at a work event? We have newcomer Chelsea Lazkani to thank for opening our eyes, as she's the one who held Amanza Smith, Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan accountable for the way they went about...

"Selling Sunset" season five unpacks tons of workplace drama, as well as a new office romance. When Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause took their relationship public in July 2021, fans were quick to speculate whether their budding romance would play out in "Selling Sunset" season four. While that wasn't the case, a teaser at the end of the episodes made clear that their relationship would unfold in season five. Then, the pair unexpectedly split - and the question became, how much of the breakup would be captured on camera? The new season is finally here, and damn, did we get answers.
The Oppenheim Group's newest power couple is introduced within the first few minutes of episode one. Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet, and Brett Oppenheim and his then-girlfriend, Tina Louise, are the only people who are aware of Stause and Jason's secret romance before it's revealed on Instagram.
